Does the 3.1 Gen 2 version work with unRaid?

Yeah I saw that but $40 shipping and that doesn't even include duty and taxes...Will be my last resort....

Anyone know who sells this in Canada? I've been looking all over and no one seems to carry this....I need one card with atleast 2 usb 3(.1) with separate controllers and works with unraid.

I have an Asus Maximus Hero VII. So, far my set up is almost complete. I just need my onboard audio to be passthrough to my win10 VM. What are the steps to do this?

My win 10 hangs after the white book screen when I have my graphics card passed through. My motherboard is an Asus Maximus hero vii, i7 4970k, Asus strix gtx 980. Since I'm using integrated graphics. Does my GPU still need to be in slot 2?

Hi, I just installed Unraid today. Currently on my trial. While, the rebuild process is doing it's thing (3x8TB drives). I was going to set up my VM but for some reason when I go into the VMs Tab I get this: "Libvirt Service failed to start." Also, when I go into the Shares folder. Aren't there suppose to be 3 shares automatically created by unraid?Mine doesn't show any shares.

I want to run windows 10 within unraid for gaming. Will an i7-8700k be good enough? It will be hosting a plex server as well but there will only be 1 stream while gaming. I will of course have sonar, radarr and sabnzbd running as well (either within windows 10 or in a docker). Thats pretty much it. I7-8700k and 32gb of ram be good enough for what I want to do?

I also like to have a VM to run a game server for Arma 3 but only 2 players will be on it. There will be a maximum of 2 plex streams at any given time (1080p). Is an Intel Xeon E5-1650 v4 overkill? Or should I just go consumer grade hardware?
