  1. THANKS! Good to know. I am trying to get all the files off the cache pool, but so far mover will only clear it down to 65% used. Here is what I have tried: I put all the shares to YES Shut down dockers (I don't have any VM's) Ran mover, manually. I have the mover tuning script, and I have tried everything I can think of with it, including disabling it, envoking mover and leaving the computer overnight) I even did a shutdown, and scanned my USB stick for errors on another computer because I read someone saying that this solved their mover problems. My question is: Where is the mover log file? I see the option to turn on loggin in the mover pluggin, but I'm not sure where to look for the log file. I think that may be a good place to start.
  2. Pretty terrifying to lose all my work, but I backed up the appdata folder "just in case", and went ahead and claimed the new server with the randomly generated name. Then I was able to change the name to something new, and it found all the meta data and settings again. PHEW.
  3. Please help!! I have binhex-plexpass installed on unraid. I made some changes to how plex starts up using this video: to try to get my plex to encode via ram. Something went terribly wrong, and plex wants me to setup a new server. I just looked in the appdata folder, and it is huge (2 gigs) so I suspect all me custom meta data is there, but even though I put the start up paramaters back to normal and returned teh appdata config path to /mnt/user (they recommeneded /mnt/cache and swore nothing bad would happen) I still am getting a new unclaimed plex server. How do I get all my custom meta data and settings back???
  4. So I have a 1TB SSD and a 250GB SSD both installed in my unraid setup to be cache drives, but the combined size is 625GB for some reason. Any one have any idea why? Also, how would I removed the 250GB from the pool? They are now 80% full, and I have the MOVR set to run hourly, and even though I manually ran it, nothing is changing.
  5. Can anyone help? When I click on Plex and select Webui, the browser opens a new tab and the page never loads. This is very frustrating to me, since this happened on my last plex install, and I finally bit the bullet, removed binhex-plex and installed the Plex fresh this time (new appdata as I removed everything from the previous install) 1 week in, and I’ve lost the web gui again. Details below: Unraid version 6.8.3 Network type: Custom: Br0 IP: 192.168.1.112 Port 32400 YES – the app is running fine in all other ways. YES – it is accessible to people outside my home and on plex.tv YES – I can log into plex.tv and monitor and make changes to my plex server remotely YES – When I installed this, I created a fresh metadata in the appdata folder. I feel like I should have moved it somewhere else though, as I have a very large database. YES- I CAN ping 192.168.1.112 from my pc YES – I have checked my router and all the port forwarding is done correctly (no changes were made here anyway, just better to be safe than sorry) YES – I have flushed my DNS and tried connecting from different devices on the local network and it doesn’t work. YES – every other container/app is working fine. I even moved one to a new ip to test and yes, it still worked also. NO – It is not accessible using my external IP (it used to be, when I first set it up) and the 32400 port MAYBE RELATED: When I rebooted Unraid it took 20 minutes for the gui to appear. I have no idea why, it certainly freaked me out. I normally run the server headless, but even on the server itself there was no gui for approx. 20 minutes. Once it popped up, everything is running fine except the Plex gui. Does anyone have any ideas? It takes so long to create new meta data and fix covers, create collections, etc.
  6. So I made a new container, and if I use a new appdata folder, the bookmark works. (still no drop down, oddly) But when I point it to my old appdata folder, the bookmark stops working, so something must be corrupt in the appdata folder.... and oddly it only effects the remote link access????? so strange
  7. I have not made any changes to my network type. The strangest thing is that plex is still running, and remote access is working (which means my port forward is working) and if I log in at plex.tv I can even edit the settings there, just can't reach the webui on my local network.
  8. Yes, it is gone from the dropdown. Not sure how long that has been missing, since I normally just use a bookmark to the location: http://192.168.1.xxx:32400/web/
  9. I have been using binhex-plexpass for over a year. Lately I am getting a lot of errors saying I cant stream directly from the server fast enough (I am on a gigabit network) so I went to check the settings and I find that I no longer have a webui option for the docker! I have a bookmark to the ip, but when it didn't work I logged into unraid and found no more option for webui.... Any advice?
