  1. Oh right - Thank you - I run into this script by the on of the many tutorials of "our" @SpaceInvaderOne. I will go fetch that plug-in then 🙂
  2. I must be blind. I saw those in screenshots but they were from an older version of unRaid. I took couple of seconds after I reopened the page Additional info: So yeah when I either click show log or Download log I only get a partial logfile. Last line says "Full logs for this script are available at /tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/unRaid_autovmbackup-0-4/log.txt". That's kinda inconvenient since that directory is not accessibly directly. Isn't there a way to consolidate all these logfiles under tools/logfiles or something? Something like that might be already there but I just started unravelling the unraid. I merely was user using my vm's but it seems I need to be a good unRaid administrator as well 😁
  3. Hi @danioj Started to use the script. I like the option to turn vm back on once backupped but it seems vm's that were already down are also started after the backup. The vm's are down for a reason.. My unRaid server is dimensioned to run 4 vm's - but I have a lot more which are on and off from time to time. I guess you know what happend with the unRaid server after it tried to start the 7th vm.. No more memory. Could you tell me how to modify the script so that vm's that are down stay down (or make a 0.5?) Thanks Sjoerd
  4. Started to use the auto vm backup script from danijo. Added a custom cron to start the script each monday morning at 3am. Prior to that I tested a the custom cron during the day. What is miss (or at least failing to find) is a log of the script. When started on de forground the webui displays script output. Is this output stored somewhere so I can monitor the progress or when it's done just to check the log if everything went oke?
  5. Sorry for the late reply. I will look into it when I got my site running as I want it. Been bit hectic around here right now. Is seem like I should be moving to docker but I got little time to dig in (and maybe a little time is all i need - i know)
  6. Wordpress doesnt "complain" about the old php version under ./wp-admin/site-health.php? My current site runs ubuntu 16 and php 7.0.33 to where the my virtualbox runs 18 and php7.4 (and i might even go for ubuntu 20 lts since i got released recently. Not sure if that comes with php7.4 or higher @Kru-x how do you keep WP up to date? everytime wp has a new version we get an updated docker ?
  7. Hi, Currently moving from my virtualbox vm (ubuntu 18lst, apache, php7, mariadb10xx, wordpress) to a kvm on unraid but I noticed a mariadb docker and new wordpress docker. I might go for the these two dockers. Just question. The WordPress docker. Does that contain the apache webserver as well - which version of php does is have. I php libs are missing how can we deal with that. Currently installing php as follows: $ sudo apt update $ sudo apt -y install software-properties-common $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ondrej/php $ sudo apt update $ sudo apt -y install php7.4 $ sudo apt -y install php7.4-curl $ sudo apt -y install php7.4-mbstring $ sudo apt -y install php7.4-imagick $ sudo apt -y install php7.4-zip $ sudo apt -y install php7.4-gd $ sudo apt -y install php7.4-mysql If the two dockers give too much hassle I rather stick with a kvm (which is nearly done configuring) I just like the concept of using dockers tho but if it hinders me I'll skip and I don;t have the knowledge how to make my own dockers
  8. Thank you -I managed to reset the password - I already found that page but I guess I need to go back to school since I lost the ability to read a page properly
  9. Fixed by reinstalling. Thanks Regards Sjoerd
  10. Lol - i got same issue here; well not exactly I installed thisdocker months ago so i could move my websites from bare-metal to unraid as vm's. Ready now to start using is. During setup email and passwords were asked tho during the setup (no clue why since no "lost password" functionality and everything runs locally). I was apparently stupid enough to not put them in my password manager... Is there a way to reset this or to re-setup the docker ? regards
  11. reinstalling does not remove the database ?
  12. Awesome.. I noticed there are some new features since my last active use. Great When I want to set s.m.a.r.t updates to daily (or any of the options listed) it falls back to disabled on save. Any thoughts on how to fix that?
  13. Oh my I was not aware of that. Under settings I can edit it - I must have added my disk in that sections but has over a year, probably more, that I had to change something. Many thanks
  14. Doing a lot with vm's but moved to virtualbox for testing purposes on a windows machine for easy snapshots and reverting to it. KVM does not offer anything in its current form so ye - if something like that would be possible i would be thrilled
  15. Hello Ole-Henrik Due to a dying disk I thought is was a good idea to edit the current disks and - I cant. The edit-tab is missing According to the Plugins-tab the plug-in is up-to-date (2020.03.18). My unRaid is @ version 6.8.3 Any idea how to fix this - got no idea if the plug-in produces any logfiles. This plug-in is still a very desirable and must-have plug-in. Thanks again!
  16. Got question - could I run it instead of kvm or just next to it - i true like the simplicity of cloning machines and snapshotting it and I got a too many virtualbox vm's. Does it run as docker? Seems the startpost hasnt got updated for centuries..
  17. 👍 well - sorted I guess 🙂
  18. Yes I did click - check for updates. They are spinning for about 10 min now. Oh wait - I reloaded the page with dockers and now I see they can be updated. It seems 3 out of 4 dockers could be updated. I wonder why I had to check manually using the "check for updates" button and why they kept spinning for so long (until i refreshed the page).
  19. I'm a bit puzzled I installed your version from the CA And when I start the webui the webui tells me 1.15.2.793 is available. The download now link let me download plexmediaserver-1.15.2.793-782228f99.x86_64.rpm from download.plex.tv but I got a feeling that not a docker. And what do u mean with "updates are done automatically via script". Can I check I those scripts actually fire (logs and suchs)
  20. Hi, Sorry for my late reply; So I just need to wait a bit then I guess 🙂
  21. Hello binhex, Thank you for this plexpass docker. I noticed the other day the plex has an update "A Plex Media Server update is available for the server SJOERD Tower! 1.15.2.793 Download now. Do I need to update it from within the docker or do we need to wait till you made a new docker ? Regards
  22. I knew I read it somewhere about the + but I forgot to unmount - makes perfectly sense of course.. Thanks for the other questions being answers @jpotrz, @dlandon
  23. Hi, Starting to move my vm's to an unassigned disk.. Now I know it's possible but i got some questions Is it possible to rename how the disks are mounted? E.g. /mnt/disks/Hitachi_HDS721032CLA362_JPB470HB18RZ3D is a ridiculously long and meaningless name. My test desktop will be at /mnt/disks/Hitachi_HDS721032CLA362_JPB470HB18RZ3D/domains/UbuntuDesk01/vdisk1.img for instance... I rather have it something like /mnt/disks/SLOT4_320GB/domains/UbuntuDesk01/vdisk1.img About sharing. If all I do on those disks is hosting vm's then I do not need to share it right - that is only for nfs/cifs/smb? And if I share can I share it the same way as unraids user shares (set R/W access to a unraid user?) If I need to stop/powerdown/reboot the array. Will the vm's be shutdown gracefully like if they were on an array disk - like they do now?
