  1. I fixed this issue. The node-exporter docker required access to the / filesystem and a flag added. Add /host mapping read-only to / and then add the docker post argument of --path.rootfs=/host. That will allow it to see all the filesystems correctly.
  2. Since upgrading to 6.9.2 I am received daily cron error emails for logrotate. It states duplicate entries for wtmp and btmp. I cannot find duplicate entries anywhere in /etc/logrotate.conf or /etc/logrotate.d/*. I even commented out the wmtp and btmp entries in /etc/logrotate.conf but I am still receiving the error. If I run logrotate directly from shell, it does not throw an error. It only throws the error when it runs from cron.daily. /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: error: /etc/logrotate.conf:22 duplicate log entry for /var/log/wtmp error: /etc/logrotate.conf:29 duplicate log entry for /var/log/btmp run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1
  3. Linux EVERSTORE 5.10.28-Unraid #1 SMP Wed Apr 7 08:23:18 PDT 2021 x86_64 Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8400 CPU @ 2.80GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux Just upgraded to 6.9.2 from 6.8.3 and it seems that the new kernel has a different way of organizing the /proc/mdstat for disk information. I use node-exporter and prometheus+grafana for monitoring and the node-exporter is complaining that it can't parse the /proc/mdstat anymore, so I get no disk information in my prometheus. https://github.com/prometheus/node_exporter/blob/master/collector/fixtures/proc/mdstat Was this changed in this new version of unraid? How can I make this work? Searching google found nobody complaining, so maybe it's just a ME issue. Thanks.
  4. Is there any update on this topic? I also run pihole on a custom IP in docker and I am running 6.8.3 right now and thankfully search google for issues with 6.9.2, so I haven't upgraded yet. I would like to upgrade though. Thanks.
  5. If I have a cache pool of 2 disks in btrfs raid 1, why do I need to have both the old drive and new drive connected to replace it? I don't have anymore sata ports available to do that. Since it's raid 1, can't I just shutdown and remove the old drive and out in the new one, then rebuild the raid set? Like if 1 drive were to fail. Thanks.
  6. Hi All, My /dev/shm is full at 100% and I can't get it to any less than that. Worked for a long time with no issues. The /dev/shm is only 64M but it's set to 50% of my 16GB. How can I fix this? Looked around all over the place and saw this: https://www.gitmemory.com/issue/dlandon/zoneminder/106/658316960 but without cloning the repo, I don't think I can modify the docker compose. Any thoughts? Thanks.
  7. Is there anyway you can add in to not do auto-updates if the parity check is being run? It updated a bunch of my dockers while parity check was being run and they orphaned a few of the containers because the CPU was too busy. Make it an option to select? E.g. Do not update during parity check
  8. There was no email used. When I set it up the account was just "admin". RESOLVED: Modified the database directly to change the username.
  9. Thanks but it doesn't work. It just says "No relevant user found".
  10. Thanks, I know about that but that forwards unraid syslog. I want to forward a docker container log file to a syslog, which can't be done as you suggest.
  11. For some reason the imfile.so module was not integrated into the rsyslogd for unraid. I would like to be able to monitor files in my unraid box or any of the docker containers and send to a remote syslog server for storage and parsing. Most standard linux like Ubuntu and CentOS come with it included by default. I tried to just copy the imfile.so file from another distro into unraid but it gives and error trying to restart rsyslogd. Link to module: https://www.rsyslog.com/doc/v8-stable/configuration/modules/imfile.html Example configuration adjustments to /etc/rsyslog.conf to monitor a file and send remotely: module(load="imfile" PollingInterval="10") # File 1 input(type="imfile" File="/mnt/user/appdata/PlexMediaServer/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Logs/Plex\ Media\ Server.log" Tag="plex" StateFile="/var/spool/rsyslog/plex" #Severity="error" Facility="local1") local1.* @1.2.3.4:514
  12. One of the latest updates to the unraid docker won't let me login to the web interface. It says that I must have a username in the format of an email address but the original user I had was "admin". How can I fix this, so that I can login? Thanks!
  13.
