I have the exact same issue. Unable to playback media Error. I have all the /dev/dir where they should go for Intel QuickSync but its not transcoding. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Everyone, First off, I want to thank you for looking at my post. So my issue is that when I look in Unraid Connect, it is telling me that I have a "fatal: bad object HEAD" I have attached my log to this post so that you can take a look at it, if needed. I thought that it may be a bad USB, so I installed a new one and I activated it. But it is still showing me a "bad object HEAD". Hello Unraiders, I wanted to see if someone could guide me on how I should handle this. I am currently running unraid 6.12 rc6 and I added a ssd for plex. I also started to notice that my 10gb nic also started to have problems. I have attached the files to this post for reference. I have the following hardware: Intel i9 11900k Gigabyte z590 Master G. Skill 3200 (32gb) 2 Crucial p3 plus 1tb ssd raid 1 btrfs 1 Crucial p5 plus 2tb plex btrfs (when i added this one) Please let me know if you need any further information. Hi Everyone, I just bought the microsemi HBA 1100-24i. The card seems to be working drive wise. But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to spin down the drives with this card. If I set UnRaid to spin down the drives it will not. If I manually spin down the array, in about 3-5 mins they spin back up. Does anyone else have this problem and were you able to solve it? Hi All, I just wanted to post an update. I have installed the T-Force ssd into my unraid server and it has been working great for me. I have installed it into the system and everything has returned to normal. No more log errors are showing up. Not sure if it was my particle problem with motherboard compatibility. Just wanted to share if someone else has the same issue. I am running the Intel i9 11900k with a Gigabyte Aorus Z590 extreme motherboard with the latest bios update. The middle m.2 slot is the gen 4 slot and the top and bottom are the gen 3 slots. Hope this helps. Take care and thank you all for your help on this.

Hello, it was a Adata XPG S70 ssd. I have returned it and purchased a new T-Force Carder gen4 ssd and will give this one a shot. I’m hoping it will have a better comparability chance with my board. I will definitely look at your suggestions of looking in the bios to try switching the gen4 to gen3 if this has the same issue with filling up my logs. Thank you for the help. 👍

Good Morning, So I will defiantly try cleaning the drive and putting it back in. Since my post I put an old gen 3 ssd into the same slot and it worked perfectly. I am using a intel i9 11900k and to us the gen 4 ssd it will need to be in that slot. I will try the cleaning and put it back into the system and let you know what happens. I am thinking it may be a compatibility issue from the ssd. I was going to return it and purchase a different manufacturer. But I will try cleaning and installing it first. Thank you for your help. Good Afternoon Everyone, I just upgrade my Unraid server to a new Gigabyte extreme z590 motherboard and an intel i9 11900k. I just put in the new xpg s70 1tb gen 4 nvme drive and it is getting errors and wanted to get some thoughts on this. I am currently running 6.10 rc1 unraid with 64gb of ram. My logs are at 100% and I am not sure if its the nvme drive or do I need to do something on the os part. From what I understand is that the top m.2 slot for the gen 4 ssd will not work with the 10th gen processor. You would have to use a 11th gen processor for the gen 4 m.2 to work. But thats of course up to you if you only have 2 m.2 ssd to put in the system. They would have to go in the bottom slots to work. But yes, the IOMMU groups would be the same.

Hi Everyone, Thank you for the reply. Update: But my issue was that in the network settings I did not have a eth0 at the bottom. It started with eth1. So I have to edit the network rules on the usb flash drive and set the eth0 on my pci card (SolarFlare sfp+ card) by looking in devices setting and also the mac address. I now have it set to eth0 and I am able to set everything like I should have. Thank you for taking a look at this post and all the help and suggests. I really appreciate everyone in this forum.

Hi All, Hope everyone is well. I wanted to see if I could get some help from all the pros on here. I cannot for the life of me assign my unraid to eth 0. I have stopped my array and there seem not to be a eth 0 to assign to. I have attached my files to this post in hopes that someone can point me in the right direction. So this board has 4 ethernet ports and I have added a SolarFlare 10gb sfp+ card that I want to use. It is connected and working but still says that eth 0 is down. Hope all are well, Just wanted to post an update on my situation. It was a bad wifi/bluetooth adapter causing my log files to fill up. I ended up taking the motherboard apart and replacing the wireless card and put everything back together and all looks fine right now. Fingers crossed. Hahahahaha. Thank you for the help.

Hello All, I just bought a Gigabyte z590 master and I am having some problems and wanted to see if anyone here has the same problem. I am currently having problems with the Bluetooth failing and filling up my logs. Have any of you had this problem? Thank you for your time and help.

Hello, So I went ahead and looked in the bios for the wireless and bluetooth device. Unfortunately, the Z590 Gigabyte Master does not offer a section on disabling the device at all. Really disappointed about that. Any other suggestions on how I can stop the logs from filling up? Thank you again for your help on this.

I am having an issue as well. I have an Asus x570-E mb and have no temps what so ever. I would love to see if someone could help with this. Good Evening, I am setting up an new Unraid for Plex. I have installed docker, installed nvidia Unraid. But when i set my Network type, I cant for the life of me figure out why it will not connect to the webui. When i switch it to custom, it gets an ip address but will not connect to the plex servers. Any ideas would be grateful. Hope all are well and safe. Thank you for your help.

So I restarted UnRaid from the main menu. Everything came back up. I have started the parity check. By making sure that the box was checked to repair. It has found 5 errors again, hoping that this time it will repair itself from the unclean shutdowns due to the transferring from the old case to its new home. I will update you once I have completed the parity check and have ran another one to insure that it did repair itself. Thank you again for all your help and input to solve this.
