Its me again but not with a stupid problem this time! :D

I wanted to ask you (ich777) if you could provide a Palworld Server version running the Windows Server using Wine/Proton? The Windows Server supports mods but the Linux version doesnt. I dont know how much of an effort it would be and I understand if you dont want to take on this project aswell but I wanted to try asking you.

Anyway: Thanks for all your great gameservers and the support!

I'd be surprised if Ich would create this. He already has over 200 containers & plugins that he supports.

I tried the suggestion and i could not get two seperate games that use steam's 27015 port to work. The only time either game would work, is if i left the default ports alone. Or run one game server L4d2 or Wreckfest at a time, not both. If you could manage to get two steam dockers that intaially use 27015 port to work please let me know!

I also tried running a cs2 container and could not get that to work either. Just incase wreckfest was being picky and it was a no go.

    Thanks for all your help!

Have you tried using 27016 or 27017 and so on for additional servers? you can't have multiple servers using the same query port. Also not you need to delete the entry in the template and re add the port with the new number.

I more so am looking for what port to put in the router for the port forwarding. Like you have the container port number that cannot be changed unless you delete the port in the docker settings. Then there is another port that will let me change it with out deleting it. The second port would be my port I point the port fowarding to. I'm not able to log on to the unraid server ATM as I'm at work. I'd give more details if I had access to the server. Lol, I apologize for all the questions.

as far as remote access you can get the mycoonnect plugin & have access througb the unraid site.

I don't think this has been reported yet but ich777's Palworld container is no longer compatible w/ the current version of Palworld. It looks like Palworld pushed an update 6 days ago to v0.1.4.1 that breaks compatibility w/ older sever versions. I am running stock (unmodded) ich777 Palworld container which seems to have been last updated 18 days ago (Jan 25th).image.thumb.png.d063458f5c375cef39edd014edab62f4.png

Is that the container itself when he added the backup feature?  Bc I updated to 0.1.4.1 and my server is running fine & I have avg of 10 players. One of them will let me know when it needs a restart or update. No issues thus far.

There were some people having an issue updating and a solution was metioned with in the last few pages of this thread.

Something about stopping the container, deleting all folders/files in the appdata/palworld, except the Pal folder and restarting the container to get a fresh download of the server files.

Also if the cobtainer is on the array instead of cache, that will cause issues if it its on multiple disks.

The containers rarely need updating for game servers unless they are edited and re composed.

Thank you for the reply, stopping the docker did allow me to get the logs, I changed the public ip to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx just so its not seen.
as for steam credentials i never filled those fields in, they were left default blank

i also attached an image of the machine this is running on

Your system is in need of an upgrade if you want to start hosting servers for modern games. Your cpu is about to be 10 years old in April.

Sorry for the simple question firstly, I'm want that, the image palworld, to change server settings at PalWorldSettings.ini. However, when reboot the image, this configuration file usually would be overwritten. How to resolve this issue? Many thanks

Are you 1. editing the one in the saved folder, 2. editing it while the container is off?

What is the admin password used for and where would i use it? im a newbie trying to set up a palworld host server and am trying to move a local save to become the server game save.

Admin pw is used for the rcon. it would go into the ini where the rest f the settings are.

i wonder if anyone can help me, i've just setup a Valheim server on unraid for my friends but i don't own the game, i've tried looking for where this docker saves the world/map etc so i can create an adminlist and stuff like that but i can't find it.
i looked in /mnt/disk1/appdata/valheim and the server files are there but not the world or anything like that, can anyone help me thanks.

i also can't seem to figure out how to use a specific world seed, i tried adding worldseed to the game param followed by a space then the seed but not sure it worked.

I believe WORLD NAME in the template is the seed name. Also linux will generate a world different from windows.

RCON doesn't seem to want to work on the PalWorld docker. RCON is enabled in the PalWorldSettings.ini, and I'm using the rcon plugin with -H IP -p 25575 -P AdminPassword.

Am I missing something? Nothing else is using the port.

Do you have the RCON plugin?
