  1. Thank you for updating with that info. Performing the install via virtualbox and moving the image and config seems to work well enough for my use. I wish UNRAID supported mounting/unmounting and changing floppies through GUI. So far I have MS-DOS 6.22, WinFW3.11, NT 3.1 work/server installs completed. I am working my way up to the whole library of Win/NT systems then hoping to go back and get networking setup to have mock domains.
  2. Here is my config that got MS-DOS running on UNRAID. I used Virtual box 6.1.40 to install MD-DOS 6.22 Plus Enhanced to a .VDI machine. Converted the VDI to qcow2 file and wrote it in to the XML. MS-DOS 6.22 Plus Enhanced.xml
  3. Have you been able to get unraid VMs to load a floppy image? I don't know the proper syntax to get one to load under UNRAID. Also struggling to get a proper BIOS type of machine emulator setup. Keep getting stuck with no boot drive because the system doesn't know how to manage drives, floppy or harddisk.
  4. SimonF, How do I get access to these options? I do not see these drop downs available. Running 6.11.5 Stable.
  5. What error are you getting with this current configuration? Nevermind, I re-read your post. So you are getting to openfirmware. That is further than me, ill see what I can do with this.
  6. I decided to build a real MacOS9 machine. Just ordered an Apple MDD DP1.42 machine to setup dual boot on 9.2.2/10.5.8 Might come back to this one day, but for now I will limit the VM's to Windows and Intel MacOS.
  7. I run an R720 UNRAID 6.11.5 and have two GTX 1070ti's in it. 2x CPUs E5-2667v2, 64GB DDR3 ECC. I'm also using PCIe to NVMe adapters for VM storage.
  8. Would you be willing the share your XML? I am trying to put together a 3.1+ windows VM library.
  9. I have not looked into that. It seems that this is something related to the nvram function where the VM wants to store variable data. I thought maybe the machine would create this file on first start up but so far no joy. Would love to get more eyes on this, the last XML I posted has gotten me the closest. I am for now trying to use emaculation's posted QEMU 9.2.2 image. Tested the image to work under ubuntu with qemu-ppc installed.
  10. I am stuck here. Need to read up on how qemu uses openbios-ppc and why CLI under linux works but UNRAID template does not.
  11. I am working this issue under another thread, used a couple pieces of your template merged with mine. Getting closer to a working solution I think. Check here:
  12. Another step taken, New XML (removed CPU driver). A new issue. master var store.xml
  13. UPDATE: I got through the errors and was able to update the XML. However when I go to boot the machine this error comes up. Here is the current XML revision and error. Almost booted.xml
  14. What do you suggest I change it to? If I try qemu-system-ppc it gives me no such file or directory error. Here is my failed ppc XML. It is a heavily modified winXP template. failed ppc.xml
  15. OK, following your commands in terminal I got the same result, the files exist. I was trying to navigate to usr/bin/qemu* with krusader docker before. Trying to build a template. What am I missing here?
  16. I thought in 6.11.1 + there should already be qemu-ppc binaries? I'm not seeing them.
  17. I'm doing a similar setup, one docker will be navezgane and one docker will be randomgen. My host is a surplus Dell R720 with 12cores/24threads, 64gb mem. I am consolidating all of my pet projects to one host, 7days docker is a big one as I had a linux box just for it. Does not seem to be very popular, also surprised to see it here. Been lurking threads and learning as I go since joining unRAID.
