  1. Update: Ran memtest for 16.5 hours with no errors. Still the same behaviour in the system.
  2. Hey Gurke258, I think you might have the wrong post!
  3. I have scoured these forums for an understanding on what the errors are. I have found a post from someone with the exact same error as me and the resolution was not to worry about it. MCE Error Post
  4. Hi All, I have been wrapping my brain around this for some time and have been scouring the internet in search of an answer. Yesterday, the system was running without issue until I had put it through some periods of high usage. Temperatures had become an issue... I shut down the system and installed new fans (this is after a transplant of the system into a new rack mount chassis so there were some wrinkles to iron out). Now, after the installation of the new fans Unraid has been consistently crashing and if it doesn't crash the WebUI is incredibly slow. CPU usage is very high as well. I can't find an answer. I thought it might been RAM related so I disassembled the system and pulled out half of the RAM sticks (this resolved the boot errors). But I am no closer to resolving the Server behaviour. There are a number of Memory Errors in the logs, but that has been consistent since the day I got the server running two years ago. It was only yesterday that the memory had prevented my system from initializing which prompted me to take some memory out to test. Attached are the logs from my server Any help would be sincerely appreciated. I can't figure this out and I need it to be up and running because I have some VMs that I need to work from for my day job. Thanks! thor-diagnostics-20220112-1341.zip
  5. It is really hard to narrow in on one particular favourite feature of Unraid is its ease of use, between the community and the near infinite resources on the web. It was simple to get up and running with very little experience. It has been 8 months since I deployed it in my homelab and it has been rock solid and so much fun to play in. There a couple of things that I would to see come to Unraid in 2020. An easy way to get github projects running in a docker on Unraid. And more notification integrations like Discord (natively) Keep up the awesome work!
  6. Hi All, I am very new to this whole thing, like I just made my first share and assigned my HDDs in unRAID kind of new. I have been loving exploring the platform and really finding out that it is very approachable for newbies. The reason I am reaching out to all of you experts is because I have a question for you - Is it possible for unRAID to repair a disk in order to get to the contents on it so that they may be transferred onto the protected array? I will clarify what I am asking, the whole reason I built the unRAID server was to replace a Mac Mini and dual drive RAID 1 array. The Mac Mini died and is no longer usable and one of the two drives have failed. Now, I have confirmed that the original files (almost 3tb of movies that I really don't want to lose) are still present. I have a Windows PC and was able to use a program to verify that the files are still there, but I can not do anything without purchasing a license for the software. When the drive is connected to my server, it is found in Unassigned Devices and when mounted it shows 3 partitions - a boot, and efi partition; both are empty. It also shows the partition that contains all of the movies in it, but it is unmountable. When I run the Check on it, it comes back with Volume Need Minor Repair. Is that something that unRAID can do? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated! Thank you, N
