  1. It's definitely a firmware issue on intels side for this specific device on linux: https://community.intel.com/t5/Wireless/Linux-driver-Wifi-6-AX210-NGW/td-p/1249283 Unfortunately though I can't disable it in my bios as it seems to run on the same lane as my M2_2 which is in use for my cache and if I disable BT/WiFi card it disables that too, seems strange I know but probably a bug in the BIOS because of the newer z590 chipset. Is there anyway to remove these entries from the syslog on the unraid side to stop it filling up? I've tried stubbing them out but that doesn't change anything. I can deal without having the device until intel figure their s*#t out but I need to figure out how to stop these logs without disabling my cache drive.
  2. I think I spoke to soon on this, "Enable syslog Archiving?" wasn't causing the logs to fill up, they're filling up regardless and I had another crash over the weekend :(. Does limetech monitor the hardware forums or is it assumed that hardware issues aren't their problem? To me the error looks like the OS can't recognise the the device so it's stuck in a loop trying to figure out what firmware to attach to it.
  3. It's onboard Bluetooth but it runs on the USB controller so it's just a case of passing it though when creating the VM, doesn't need to be stubbed. Having said that It is currently stubbed and it hasn't changed anything unfortunately :(.
  4. Thanks for the suggestion but I actually I think I just solved the logs filling up, I think it might have been because I had "Enable syslog Archiving?" enabled in the "Tips and Tweaks" Plugin, I've cleaned the logs and disabled it now so I'll monitor it over the next couple of days. Still wouldn't mind solving it though as I would like to use the Bluetooth device in a VM.
  5. This has become a real problem as it's maxing out my Log every couple of days. Does no one know how to revolve this?
  6. Hi Guys, I've just setup my new MSI MEG Z590i Unify which has an Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210 and I'm getting a never ending flood of these in my Syslog: Apr 8 13:05:15 server-new kernel: Bluetooth: hci0: Reading Intel version information failed (-22) Apr 8 13:05:15 server-new kernel: Bluetooth: hci0: Intel Read version failed (-22) Apr 8 13:05:15 server-new kernel: Bluetooth: hci0: Intel reset sent to retry FW download Apr 8 13:05:15 server-new kernel: usb 1-14: USB disconnect, device number 84 Apr 8 13:05:16 server-new kernel: usb 1-14: new full-speed USB device number 85 using xhci_hcd Strangely I've disabled wifi and bluetooth in the bios and they are both still in my System Devices and the errors are still coming through. Any advice? server-new-syslog-20210408-2011.zip
  7. Ohhh mate you're a life saver, I had another shorter cable and it's working, Thank you so much!
  8. Hi Guys, I'm looking for a little help. I'm running an mITX build without an available PCIe slot and I was running external USB drives but I can't handle the constant bottle necks and randomness I've been getting so I managed to get my hands on a SilverStone TS431S with a mini SAS 8088 connection. This is my first venture into SAS but I'm only running 4*SATA drives in it so at first I thought an SFF-8088 to 4*SATA breakout cable straight to the motherboard would work but when I tried it none of the drives would show up. I then discovered that to run the drives off the motherboards SATA controller I would need a reverse breakout cable, so I went ahead and got one of these MINI SAS 26 Pin SFF-8088 Female to 4*SATA Reverse Cable to connect to the SATA ports on the motherboard and an SFF-8088 to SFF-8088 External Cable but still none of my drives will show up. I was under the impression that the SATA controller would be able to see SATA drives coming from a SAS connection if I was using a reverse cable but I'm just not sure what I'm missing, if I had an available PCIe slot I would just get a SAS controller but unfortunately I can't sacrifice my GPU for one . Any help would be greatly appreciated!
  9. Hey mate, no delay at all! Thanks for this, I'll check it out in the next day or too, I'm actually dealing with some disk issues at the moment so once I have it sorted I'll be moving back on to this :).
  10. Haha nah that was my typo but the screenshot included it ;). Yeah mate, proxy would be even better to be honest, should be less work and lighter on the API. I'll share the project here once I've completed it.
  11. Thanks @Djoss I'll take a look at it. I'm looking at pointing my watch folder to my main video storage folder (I don't care too much if there's an issue and I lose a file here or there). I have the whole process working except for the last step being that it deletes the whole folder including the newly encoded file rather than the old file.
  12. @ElectricBrainUK Hey mate, thanks for your work on this. I'm writing a small Windows system tray companion app for quick stop/starting/pausing of containers and VMs using your API but I would like to request a possible change if you're open to it? The problem I have is the icons for Containers and VMs on the Unraid server aren't accessible by the Windows user running the application, what would solve it is if we were able to store the icons inside your API and make them accessible through it, something along the lines of download them when the getServers method is called and store them in the same folder structure inside the UnraidAPI Container and then provide this URL in the json. I've added a screenshot to give you and idea of what I'm talking about where I'm using a dummy icon where the actual icon would be. I've also just noticed I have a typo in stopped haha.
  13. Hey guys, does anybody know if it's possible to have "Automatic Video Converter: Keep Source Files:" set to 0 but only remove the converted file, not the folder if it's in one?
  14. Hey Mate, thanks for your help! That has worked perfectly but only for Kanji characters, there are still other character sets missing for other languages, although I don't need them myself it might be useful for people in the future if there's a solution to all?
  15. I've seen on the github issues for this project that it should be listed in Kanji (日本人) however the docker container doesn't seem to have the character set for many languages. If you see in my screenshot the last in the list is depicted as multiple alphanumeric squares, does anyone know how to fix it?
  16. Hey Guys, having an issue with no Japanese as an available language in the Audio Track Selection. Anyone have any ideas?
  17. Actually I just got it, found the solution in a github issue. Move the dongle to a usb2 port or use a usb extension cable. Apparently there's an issue with using it on USB3.
  18. Hey Mate, did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue.
  19. I've spent the last 2 days trying to get the Oculus Quest 2 with link cable passed through with no luck. It will show up sometimes but doesn't actually work but usually just disconnects straight after it is connected. Unfortunatly I have a mini-itx mobo with only a single USB controller so passing through a pci-e card isn't an option. Anyone else have any ideas about how this could be resolved?
  20. Not sure if you ended up fixing this but thought I'd chime in anyway as I just experienced the same issue. Essencially the var_dump() in getDeviceList expects an argument but the script isn't providing one. I don't really understand PHP but from what I have read I think this function is used to dump information about a variable, I don't know what dump means in this context but I'm getting the feeling it's used for debugging or logging. I've fixed the issue by removing the var_dump call but I'm desperatly hoping that this function isn't some sort of garbage collection and I'm just creating a memory leak for myself, is anyone able to confirm please?
  21. Thanks mate, I'll have a look at the script later on tonight. I'm not super familure with docker or linux development but I am a web/app dev so I should be able to figure it out to give you a hand, do you have any tutorials off the top of your head where I could get started? Also do you have your sources public? I found your GitHub but the closest I could find was "docker-debian-buster" but there's no reference to nvidia or steam in there. I want to install Lutris because if gives you remote management of non Steam games, especially good for emulation :).
  22. Hey Mate, I've just started looking into your "Debian Buster - Nvidia" container and I would like to use this connected directly to 1 source while being able to stream to other devices in my house. Because it will be connected directly to 1 device, I'd love the ability to passthrough Bluetooth and even an Xbox controller adapter, is this possible? Also, (I saw it in the description but I didn't quite understand) what would be the best procedure to install Lutris and have it persist over container updates? Great work on this, I think it has massive potential to become the perfect Steam source for unraid, it could even be worth looking at something like this: steamos-ubuntu to run a SteamOS box with unraid in the background.
  23. Hi emod, I'm running an i-7 8700 with and Asus h370-I and I have tried every single solution I could find and none of them have been successful. The furthest I have got is when running a VM on Seabios I can get a display of the Seabios Post screen but it just sits there with a flashing cursor. I'm desperate to find a solution.
