Solutions

  1. mihcox's post in Problems after 7.1.4 Update was marked as the answer   
    The Unraid connect plugin was causing the issue. After removing it, I found that all my network settings had been deleted/removed. Working on adding those now to see if the problem isresolved.
  2. mihcox's post in GUI Login Error was marked as the answer   
    resolved by resetting the settings from inside the gui from tower.local
