updater.phar has been removed from the latest releases. The update process has been built into the container image, so updating the container will perform the update to nextcloud itself going forward.

If you are currently running the latest image without issues, then you don't need to take any action. If you have updated to the latest image and nextcloud is not working this post has all the info you should need https://info.linuxserver.io/issues/2023-06-25-nextcloud/ and if you follow all of that and still have issues you can post here with your container logs, nextcloud log file (in the/data volume), nginx log (in the /config/logs volume), /config/www/nextcloud/config/config.php file, and a screenshot of your nextcloud admin status page and I'll be able to help.

    That's awesome!

Confirming this worked for me too. Not sure I needed to replace both, but I did anyway and Swag and Nextcloud are both back and up and running.

For noobs like me, here's what I did:

    1. Stop the Swag container

    2. Go to the /mnt/appdata/swag folder

    3. Rename your ssl.conf to ssl.conf.old and nginx.conf to nginx.conf.old (just in case we to restore them)

    4. Copy ssl.conf.sample to ssl.conf and nginx.conf.sample to nginx.conf

    5. Start the container and you should be good.

Had the same struggle after the last update, worked fine with this instruction.

    Thanks!

  3. Hi there, im stuck on updating nextcloud using the web udpater.

Now I get the error: update in process.

As written on the first page I tried to trigger the docker update on the terminal:

    Quote

root@T30:~# docker exec -it nextcloud updater.phar
Nextcloud Updater - version: v24.0.0beta3-1-g67bf13b dirty

Step 6 is currently in process. Please call this command later.
    root@T30:~#

What would be the best next step to get nextcloud working again?

Edit: turning of maintenance mode isnt working:

    Quote

root@T30:~# docker exec -it nextcloud occ maintenance:mode --off
Could not open input file: /config/www/nextcloud/occ

    EDIT2: Log says:

    Quote

[custom-init] No custom files found, skipping...
    [ls.io-init] done.
Could not open input file: /config/www/nextcloud/cron.php

    and so on...

    Thanks in advance.

  4. Hi there, I recently changed my server hardware, so I swaped all my old drives into a new server.

Now Unraid flags an old existing drive with full of stuff as "Unmountable: Unsupported partition layout"

(ignore the last two, these are new into this bild)

What is the best way to have the files from this drive back wocking in Unraid?

Format and the parity disk will restore everything?

Or I mean, the hdd is fine, so there I dont know why this should be unmountable?

    Regards in advance

    Toobie.

You can move your flash drive and Unraid disks to new hardware and things should work just as before, assuming you don't have disk controller compatibility issues.

Any RAID controllers involved in either system? This is one of many reasons RAID controllers are NOT recommended with Unraid.

Also, if you passthru any hardware to VMs you will of course have to revisit that on new hardware.

Im using a LSI SAS9228-8i on IT-Mode Controller in the Dell T30 at the moment.

My new build is a x10srl-f with enough sata onboard-ports so I may skip the controller or for reasons I will still using this card.

  6. hey there,im using wireguard now since it was released on unraid.

    Loving it!

Im using it to access my unraid server from anywhere and also so tunnel my connection.

Now, I installed a second NIC to aggregate my connection in the future.

Problem now is, that im still able to connect to connect to this vpn connection, im also able to access all lan ips but my internet connection is broken.

Settings I made are that my old nic is still the number one, and the second one as a slave so actually nothing new to the wireguard settings.

Do I miss out something in this case?

    Regards Tobias.

Are you trying to access the LAN devices by name or IP? You haven't specified a Peer DNS server, so you will need to access the devices by IP address. See the "About DNS" section of the first post.

Im using ip all the time, my internal dns server is a pihole server.

  8. Hey there,

im using Wireguard as a always-on vpn on my phone now since a couple of months. Worked as a charme!

I used the quick-start manual for setting it up.

At least, without any changing I'm getting into troubles as I cannot reach any devices on my local network.

I can access the internet though this connection, but not my local devices as pihole etc.

For the client side "Peer type of access: Remote tunneled access" is the right one or?

Disk looks fine, might be a good idea to replace/swap cables just to rule them out if it happens again to the same disk.

    Thx for helping.

As the disk is installed to the LSI Card, its connected with this cable set:

    https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00S7KU0VO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

bought brand new - so there is no way to change just one cable :(
