  1. I assume only the LSI D3307-A12 can be flashed to IT mode. Or do I need to flash the expander to IT mode as well? I cannot find IT mode firmware for the expander. I only see one firmware file to use.
  2. I am wondering if this is a good choice to add more drives to my unraid server. LSI D3307-A12 +82885T 12G RAID JBOD LSISAS3008 PCI 3.0 https://www.ebay.ca/itm/175115797350 It seems reasonable priced but I do not want to have to buy twice.
  3. I have a spare SuperMicro H8DME-2 Dual 6 Core Opteron board with 2 cpus 12 cores and ram. I want to turn this into an unraid downloading machine and run a few basic vm's. Such as pi-hole, tailscale, nzbget and transmission. I see it has 2 pci express x8 slots. It seems it is pci 1.0 so 2000MB/s max so I want to buy a gen3 nvme 4 tb m2 drive and put it in a pci-express adapter. I also will install a mellonox 10 gb ethernet card in the other slot. My question is will this allow me to max out the nvme and ethernet? Or is the hardware too old and ready for the trash.
  4. Please read the last page. This is not correct. Transcoding in RAM stopped working around Plex 0.9.14. See the other comments on this page. For more info on moving the transcoding directory, see: https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=40937.msg419495#msg419495
  5. How can we install an old plex docker image that works with ram transcoding? I do not care about new features. I would rather have an old working version for transcoding to ram.
  6. there is no working docker with transmission with a rss feed or flex get.
  7. How do we install this? I cannot get it to start.
  8. I am requesting this as no other torrent client for unraid has rss feeds to auto download.
  9. Hey there I am using your transmission plug-in. Is there anyway to make the transmission auto-read the settings.jason file every 5 mins or so? As I am adding torrents to a watch file but the only way they will add in transmission is if I start and stop my transmission via the webinterface. 10. I have 2 unraid servers. Identical hardware. 1 server cache drive and mover runs normally. Server 2 the mover script crashes unraid bad Any ideas? I have attached the log. The test file is a small txt file I made for testing the mover scipt. syslog22.zip
  11. I am sure this is covered but I cannot find it. I want to have 2 accounts. Guest and mine (root) I want to only have my server list disk1 disk2 etc for everyone (Not export the contents). But I want everyone but me to only have read and write access. I do not want them to be able to delete files from the disks. How do I do this? I am afraid someone will delete something by mistake.
  12. Thanks for the help so far. So the progress I made so far I got the data "Fixed and mounted the drive" but the files are damaged So then I did the trust the parity procedure and moved disc 13 to the cache position and the drive contents seem fine even though I though the parity was incorrect. So now I am going to copy the contents from the parity disc 13 to another drive on my server. Then once that completes I will move disc 13 back to the normal position and rebuild the data. Then I am guessing I will need reiserfsk --check to ensure the drive is correct and then test some of the contents. And then I can recheck parity. Does this seem like the best option??

  15. Hi there I am trying to get the data off disc 13. I do not think the parity is correct so I want to try and get the data off. What do I need to do next? I have copied and pasted the output from reiserfsck. Will read-only check consistency of the filesystem on /dev/md13 Will put log info to 'stdout' Do you want to run this program?[N/Yes] (note need to type Yes if you do):Yes The problem has occurred looks like a hardware problem. If you have bad blocks, we advise you to get a new hard drive, because once you get one bad block that the disk drive internals cannot hide from your sight, the chances of getting more are generally said to become much higher (precise statistics are unknown to us), and this disk drive is probably not expensive enough for you to you to risk your time and data on it. If you don't want to follow that follow that advice then if you have just a few bad blocks, try writing to the bad blocks and see if the drive remaps the bad blocks (that means it takes a block it has in reserve and allocates it for use for of that block number). If it cannot remap the block, use badblock option (-B) with reiserfs utils to handle this block correctly. bread: Cannot read the block (2): (Input/output error). Aborted (core dumped) root@Tower:~#
  16. No it works fine without simplefeatures. Since simplefeatures is still crashed I installed unmenu and that is working fine. Not sure the issue. Bizarre - I'm running an AMD server as my main unRAID server - not a problem. Do you get this issue without simpleFeatures installed on that server?
  17. Same software exactly except one is intel based (the working one) and the non working one is amd.
  18. I have 2 servers. On my tower 2 simplefeatures just stopped repsonding alltogether. Usually after 10-15 mins. I have tried installing multiple times and I cannot get it working on my tower2. I can still telnet or ssh in and my sabnzb and transmission are all available by the web but simplefeatures just stops working. Anyway to troubleshoot?? On tower it is working perfectly.
  19. I did power down from the webgui. But I didnt stop the plugins before doing so.
  20. that maybe it then. I installed ram and just powered it down without stopping the plugins.
  21. I have sickbeard , sabnzb and also transmission running off my unraid server. I have them installed on disk 15 of my server. I am getting parity sync errors since I done this. Will having these running off an array drive instead of a cache drive do this??
  22. What would the command be to run a long smart test on all 16 of my drives and output the results to a txt file? I cannot get a clean parity check so I expect one of the discs is causing it. I really would like it todo the check on all discs at once so It will not take days to complete. Thanks for the help
  23. Well I removed everything and just left 192.168.123.104:3551 And it works!!!!!! So the correct settings are just 192.168.123.104:3551 or tower:3551 for the first line thanks for the help
  24. I tried using towers ip which is 192.168.123.104 and dtill not working. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I am using the version installed in unmenu. apcupsd-3.14.3-i486-1kjz.tgz
