Hi, thanks for a great docker. I have a problem, I cant upgrade past 1.4.0.3 version. After experiencing some issues in the past I decided to stay on 1.4.0.3 on my main work server. However, after testing to install the latest Guacamole on my home machine (no previous versions installed) and testing it, I decided to upgrade my work machine. However when I update I get a 404 message when trying to access the WebGui HTTP Status 404 – Not Found Type Status Report Description The origin server did not find a current representation for the target resource or is not willing to disclose that one exists. After rolling back via the Appdata Backup plugin, it works again. I tried 2 more times with restarts in between still the same result. I am unable to update 1.4.0.3 to the latest version of Guacamole. Log reads: Using existing properties file. Copying MySQL exte nsion. Copying TOTP extension. Updating user permissions. Database exists. Its for the dockers to be able to communicate if one docker is using a custom IP.

Thanks for the Tutorial. After reading it I finally bit the bullet and tried this and I activated the Onboard 2.5gb Nic and assigned it to dockers only. The problem is that this does not solve any of the issues, with this solution Host access to custom networks does not work at all, neither in Mcvlan or with Ipvlan. Even if this is stable is does not solve the issue and I can achieve the exact same "stable" system using IPVLAN on 1 nic and share it with unraids "normal" system. The problem still stands, you either have Mcvland with Host access to custom networks which allows you to assign dockers like Guacamole or Unifi a dedicated IP and they can talk to other dockers, which allows you to setup and use NGINIX reverse proxy, BUT and it is a big freaking but, It crashes all the time. OR you have ipvlan or this dedicated NIC solution which cause no crashes but you have no Host access to custom networks. As such I don't see how this "solution" helps vs just using IPVLAN?

I can confirm that this is exactly how it is currently working for me. I find this ridiculous, is a fix being worked on in a new version of Unraid? If so how long until this is released?

Hi, I have done the 1.4.0-3 upgrade to 1.5 as I had Mysql errors when doing the docker upgrade via the auto update docker feature. Guacamole now loads and can be used, however NONE of my VNC connections work any more I have about 6 physical machines (NOT VM's) that was working perfect before with WOL. Any idea why they all stopped working with 1.5? Unfortunately it does not look like you can downgrade from 1.5 to previous versions again as I get Mysql errors again when trying to go back to 1.4.0-3

Hi, I am having the same issue. How did you revert to a previous version? (sorry a bit of a noob).

Not sure how to do that to be honest Strange part is that if I now set up a new user and then enable OPT_TOTP, that user gets prompted to scan QR code on first login. Using Google authenticator I scan the QR code and I get a code response to put it but that code does not work. Not sure if something has mysteriously got corrupted or what is going on as it was working flawlessly before and just stopped working one day. Super annoying nonetheless

So no one else has problem with OPT_TOTP at the moment? Only thing I have done lately is upgrading Unraid to the latest version.

Mine is working now after first uninstalling the plugin. Restarting, then updating to unraid 6.10.2. After update finished I installed the latest version of the plugin 2022.11.04a it now seems to be working as it should without spamming the log. Not sure which of my steps fixed the issue but it is working now. A big thank you to @dlandon for taking time to help and upgrading the plugin.

For some reason OPT_TOTP has stopped working for me. When trying to login today I get an error saying the code is incorrect. After messing around I disabled OPT_TOTP in the docker and could log in. I created a new "superadmin" user and enabled OPT_TOTP again. When login in with the new user I get asked to scan a QR as per normal. I scan the QR with google authenticator on my phone but again I get an error saying incorrect code......... Any clue on what has happened as it was working perfectly fine before for over a year. Is this related to the SSH issue ppl keep discussing in here?

I have the same problem whenever I try to scan any files from my Brother document scanner model ADS-2600We. That has never been a problem before but now I am getting error messages and the scanner just says Sending Error when ever I try to scan anything.

However I am sorry to say that it is still not working with version 2022.10.25a Actually it is worse now, server completely frozen this morning after updating last night and enabling the plugin again. Restarted the server and left it. This morning all shares unavailable and webui not reachable. After hard power reset the default port for Webui had for some reason changed back to port 80 which took ages to figure out. Was a bit of a nightmare, when I finally could login i checked syslog and it is again spammed with smbd_audit tower-diagnostics-20221026-0948.zip

I can confirm that my problem was also the recycle bin plugin. Once disabled the spamming stopped and log is no longer getting full.

Hi, thanks for trying to help edited: disabling the docker did not change anything. Is it normal for Smbd_audit to scan every file and folder? added the latest syslog to show what i mean.

Hi, I am getting /var/log is getting full (currently 100 % used) warning in fix common problems plugin. Sorry I meant path not patch. Super strange though, I only added a path to a share so that I could use file upload and download in RDP, changed no other setting. after adding the path and clicking I could no longer use Guacamole.

Hoping someone can help. Today I edited the container and added a path to a Share for RDP to enable file transfer, did nothing else and now it wont start again. Restarted, etc nothing works.............................................. I am no linux wiz kid so I cannot understand what caused this.

If i remove the mysql argument and leave it blank and save it works, clicking edit on the docker after it has installed shows that sqlite has been autofilled. It again ignores my set mysql / MaraiDB setting, however the docker works and can be used. In its current state setting my own DB simply does not work and gets completely ignored. Perhaps most ppl are using the built in sqlite function?

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to reply Yes both exist in the database (Screen shot attached) From the log I can only see it trying to connect to the included sql database in the docker, it completely ignores the one configured in the docker settings.

Something is very wrong (i think it is the docker) Does not matter how much i edit the Database field, it completely ignores it and tries to use the built in mysql. MariaDB cannot be used as an argument, and looking at the project page it looks like mysql should be used. I have tried what feels like 100 variations, it simply will not work.

Hi my Unriad has started to do random Freezes when working from it where I can no longer use the SMB share or access the webui. After downloading the sys log the only error i can find is kernel reports TIME_ERROR: 0x41: Clock Unsynchronized Could this be causing the freeze? and if so does any one know how to fix it? Please see attached syslog.syslog

Hi I think you are misunderstanding my problem. Let me try to clarify. Our Normal SMB Share that we work from will work until we put any files on it. If we put a file in SMB SHARE -> SUB FOLDER1, as soon as the file is written we can no longer open SUB FOLDER1 as we get an access denied error. We can still access SUB FOLDER2, SUB FOLDER3 etc. If we save a file to SUB FOLDER2 the exact same thing happens, as soon as the file is saved, or if any file is copied we can no longer access SUB FILDER2. If i then run Docker Safe New Perms it will temporarily fix the problem until we write anything to any folder again. To clarify, we are NOT using a docker to write these files, we are saving them with Photoshop directly to the SMB Share, and the same thing happens if we just copy a file using windows. The system has been working flawlessly for over a year prior to this issue but it all starter after running - Docker Safe New Perms to fix the permission error we got from files that the docker ocrmypdf-auto was creating. And that bug began after updating unraid to the latest version. We have tried disabling the docker (Stopping it) but it does not fix the issue
