  1. +1 for multiple arrays. i am also running out of space and would like to replace my 6TB disks with 16TB. with two arrays, this would be super easy.
  2. In the past, I used to use the rtcwake command to suspend my server for a given time à la "sudo rtcwake -m mem -s 3600". Now, after some months without using this, I tried it again and all I get is a "write error" without the server going to sleep. Any idea what has changed here?
  3. Hi, I used to run lancache-bundle 2 years ago, without much configuration. Now I wanted to reinstall it on Unraid v6.10.3 and I am not getting it to work after one week. I wonder if lancache-bundle is still supported under 6.10.3? Any idea what I could do to troubleshoot? Thanks for your support!
  4. HW encoding works again. All I did was to switch off the server and switch on. No clue, why this changed anything, but now its working again. ⁉️
  5. I already reinstalled the Nvidia drivers and rebooted the server - didn't help. Please let me know, if you find something.
  6. I just realized that in my Plex docker container (plexinc/pms-docker) the transcoding is not using my Nvidia graphics card anymore. I didn't change anything in the configuration or so. The only change was to upgrade from the latest RC to the final 6.10 Unraid version. But I am not sure, if the problem already occured with one of the RCs. Anyway, the problem is that the Plex transcoder is not using the dedicated graphics card anymore, but falls back to CPU coding. I can't find any error message, so I tried to identify the problem with the following steps: - changed the Nvidia driver from v510.73.05 to v515.43.04, v495.46 with reboot and back - no impact - installed binhex/arch-plexpass and repeated the Nvidia driver changes there - no impact Any idea how I could solve this problem? Or anyone having the same problem? Thanks for any feedback. 🙂 unraid-diagnostics-20220527-1508.zip
SIEG! 😁
  8. Is there a way to run the Docker container or the binary therin with LOW priority? Thanks for your support! Edit: okay, I found this - add --cpu-priority 0 to the Additional XMRig Arguments of the Docker and it runs on Idle Priority.
  13. That solved the problem. Thank you so much! I was already preparing my offline backup to recover 60TB... I have no idea what caused these permission problems. And why it showed up only after the upgrade to 6.9.2. No clue. Anyway, I was able to recover not only the Shares, but also the VMs and Docker containers. Everything seems to be working fine with 6.9.2. now. I owe you a beer or two. 😁
  14. In the meanwhile I did an xfs_repair on each of the md devices and now let the parity build from scratch. It will be finished tomorrow morning. 15. Hi MediaMaan, I face exactly the same problem. Did you ever find a solution? Cheers Raki72
  16. Thanks for your advise. 🙂 Did that but it didn't help at all. So I decided to do another fresh install with 6.9.2 (after formating my USB stick to make sure, the problem is not there) without my SSD cache drive (in case, this is part of the problem). What can I say? Nothing changed. All data is still on the drives but nothing shows up in the User Shares screen. When entering a new share on this screen, I get an "Share 'test41' has been deleted." message but /boot/config/shares/test41.cfg is created. When entering a share name where the directory does already exist (i.e. /mnt/userr/Exchange), no message appears but it doesn't set up the share and create the .cfg file. I just tried to go back to 6.8.3 and the same problem happens. I am really getting frustrated. What could cause this problem? tower-diagnostics-20210424-1816.zip
  17. Understood. Thanks for the tip. 🙂 ShalI I change the owwnership and permissions for appdata, domains, and system recursively? Could you please look, if the files in the directories are also nobody:users?

  19. Do you have any adblockers or anything else that might interfere with the webUI? 20. Unfortunately it's not a browser issue. I tried it with Chome and Firefox and there is no change. The disks are only shared to show that the sharing itself works. I didn't set this up. Seems to be the default config on my server.
  21. Hi, I've tried to update my 6.83 to 6.92 several times and every time my shares were not visible anymore, while they were still available on the disks. So I decided to start from scratch, installed 6.92 on the USB drive, and booted with it. After the usual config stuff (network, passwords, assigning the drives back to their slots,...) I wanted to create a new share and it failed again! When I call the share "test10", I receive a message "Share 'test10' has been deleted." But the directory is created as /mnt/user/test10 and the Share does not show up in the Shares screen When I try to create a share, that already exist from the previous installation, I do not get the message "Sahre has been deleted". The directory in /mnt/user remains unchanged and the Share does not show up in the Shares screen. All disks, flash and cache shares are visible in Windows File Explorer. Any idea anyone? unraid-diagnostics-20210422-1516.zip
  22. Hi, I am still running 6.8.3. Every time I shutdown the Unraid server, I receive a RIP message. This started some weeks ago but it took me some time to get a diagnostics file for upload. The server hangs with a message wimilar to the screenshot and I have to switch it off manually in order to power it down. Could anyone have a look what is wrong here? Thanks! syslog.zip unraid-diagnostics-20210406-1718.zip
  23. I have the same problem after the upgrade to 6.9.0 - no shares and homes anymore. Downgrading to 6.8.3 works after re-assigining the SSD as a Cache drive.
