  1. OK. Thank you. I'll try that. I'll also order a new Motherboard, since the log still indicates that "kernel: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PC00.PEG1.PEGP._DSM.USRG], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20220331/dsfield-184)" error in the syslog.
  2. G'Day, Well that did not help. I awoke today to find the system again has kenerla trapped. It was around 7 days since rebooting after making the ipvlan change. If it is a hardware, where should I start? The remote syslog has little in it leading up to the kernal trap. Maybe the image has more of a clue. I'm not sure what it is telling me however. 3. G'Day, OK. Thank you. I will change to ipvlan and see if this helps. Kind Regards Peter
  4. G'Day Guys, I'm at a loss. The system was running ok. I've noticed the system crashing for a few months. However I did not have a screen and the system log was not going to a server. The system is Kernal trapping reasonable regularly. It was once a week, however the last 2 where over the weekend. The system is an Intel i9. There isn't any overclocking modification. (Ignore the system name as Ryzen1. It used to be a Ryzen many years ago). The log also shows an ACPI error, however I have the latest BIOS version for my ASUS HERO motherboard. So I don't know why this error is also appearing. The last entry in the syslog before the crash is: Oct 21 12:56:02 Ryzen1 kernel: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PC00.PEG1.PEGP._DSM.USRG], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20220331/dsfield-184) Oct 21 12:56:02 Ryzen1 kernel: ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, CreateBufferField failure (20220331/dswload2-477) Oct 21 12:56:02 Ryzen1 kernel: ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PC00.PEG1.PEGP._DSM due to previous error (AE_ALREADY_EXISTS) (20220331/psparse-529) Oct 21 12:56:02 Ryzen1 kernel: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure creating named object [\_SB.PC00.PEG1.PEGP._DSM.USRG], AE_ALREADY_EXISTS (20220331/dsfield-184) Oct 21 12:56:02 Ryzen1 kernel: ACPI Error: AE_ALREADY_EXISTS, CreateBufferField failure (20220331/dswload2-477) Oct 21 12:56:02 Ryzen1 kernel: ACPI Error: Aborting method \_SB.PC00.PEG1.PEGP._DSM due to previous error (AE_ALREADY_EXISTS) (20220331/psparse-529) Oct 21 20:11:27 Ryzen1 webGUI: Successful login user root from 192.168.200.203 Oct 21 20:12:46 Ryzen1 monitor: Stop running nchan processes Oct 22 03:30:01 Ryzen1 Plugin Auto Update: Checking for available plugin updates Oct 22 03:30:05 Ryzen1 Plugin Auto Update: Community Applications Plugin Auto Update finished Oct 22 04:00:01 Ryzen1 Docker Auto Update: Community Applications Docker Autoupdate running Oct 22 04:00:01 Ryzen1 Docker Auto Update: Checking for available updates Oct 22 04:00:46 Ryzen1 Docker Auto Update: Found update for swag. 5. G'Day, Oh I see what happened here. The Name of the system does not correctly reflect the CPU being used. It used to be a Ryzen however some month back I migrated to an 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13900K. Nothing overclocked. I've found that the ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO has a flashback feature, so I will run this with the latest BIOS update asap. Also, I've removed the disk which had reported crc errors. I will monitor the situation and report back. Thanks Kind Regards Peter
  6. G'Day, My Unraid system has been active for many years. I've replaced hardware my hardware some months maybe a year. Without issues. However recently the system appears to be crashing. Strangely, I tend to notice it on a Wednesday evening when I go to view something on the Plax instance. However, I sure that is a coincidence. I see new references to a few CPU Call Traces in the syslog. The log also shows ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Failure entries, however these have been there for some time. I read this may be related to a BIOS update. However since it had not been an issue and not knowing the best way to flash the BIOS from unraid, I left it be. Finally, I have a disk also recently indicating CRC errors. Again, while this is new and will be recified, I do not attrivbute this to my issues as the Crashing started some time before the disk was a problem. I've attached the diag logs and I would appreciate some expert opinion on how I may return the server to a stable condition. Thanks ryzen1-diagnostics-20231011-1935.zipsyslog-11-Oct-23.log.zip Peter
  7. G'Day, I recently upgraded to 6.10.3 from 6.9.2. The system initially did not boot as it had an error with the bzimage checksum error. I got around this by booting with intel_iommu=on iommu=pt However since this time my Windows 10 VM does not start. I'm at a loss. Help or hints will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Peter ryzen1-diagnostics-20220916-1917.zip
  8. G'Day, I also discovered the error when upgrading from 6.9.2 to 6.10.3. I added the intel_iommu=on iommu=pt to the boot and this appeared to allow me to progress further. However once the system was started the VM's did not run. the Libvert log indicates: "2022-09-16 06:24:53.891+0000: 7926: error : qemuDomainAgentAvailable:8610 : Guest agent is not responding: QEMU guest agent is not connected 2022-09-16 06:39:54.882+0000: 7924: error : qemuAgentCheckError:990 : internal error: unable to execute QEMU agent command 'guest-network-get-interfaces': this feature or command is not currently supported" My CPU is a Ryzen 9 3900X so the intel reference in the boot line concerned me. So I also tried booting with simply the iommu=pt appended and this also allowed the system to boot. However with the same error. I'm unsure what further information to provide here. Other than to say it was working fine with 6.9.2 and now after the upgrade to 6.10.3 it is not. Any assistance (hints) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Peter
  9. G'Day Guys, I too have received an out of memory issue. The Fix Common Issues recommended I post my diagnosis file to the Forum. Also, I've noticed a few of my Docker containers have also disappeared. I was able to reinstall and reconfigure them. I just thought it was strange. Please let me know what I need to modify to prevent out of memory issues moving formward. Thanks ryzen1-diagnostics-20190717-0745.zip
