  1. Thanks Johnnie, I should have said that I have previously got him to change the cable between the N40 and the Silverstone. I had seen previous CRC errors and I’ve seen you mention that it could be cable faults usually 👍 so that was my first port of call, we do heed your advice on here 😁
  2. I know this is old tech now but I am trying to help a friend out with a issue. Basically he has a N40L Microserver with 6 gig of ram and also it has a Startech ESata card which connects to a Sliverstone 4 bay enclosure with two disks in it. He called me up as it had errored and wasn't moving files from Sab that Sonarr had downloaded. The Sab and Sonarr dockers had disappeared, the cache drive was full. And also Disk 5 was disabled. So I have moved all the files off the cache, tidied up the cache drive, reinstalled the dockers from a backup and then upgraded the server to the latest Unraid - it was on 6.8.2. I have managed to get Disk 5 working again and the server is now going through parity check and correct. The reason for the check is that disk 6 is now showing errors. My gut feeling is that the Startech card is faulty but I have attached the Diagnostics for someone smarter than me to see if they can give me a point in the right direction to give me some guidance. The attached diagnostics are after having upgraded so are missing the info for Disk 5 being disabled. tower-diagnostics-20200414-1816.zip
  3. Ok preclear is done and my unbalance so I have rebooted the server and have now attached the log file. The server had been up for 6 minutes and I had two lockup’s in the WebUI in that time. Only small ones and it started working again. sometimes it locks completely and the only way to get back is to reopen another tab. it doesn’t happen on my iPhone (iOS 13.2) tower-diagnostics-20191121-1351.zip
  4. Something that I’ve experienced since the 6.8 RC began is that the WebUI will lock up whilst browsing UnRaid. Also the Docker page won’t scroll either (this has been mentioned on the forum) iPad Pro on IOS 13.2. Inhave a friends server here in 6.7.2 and that doesn’t suffer at all. Will diagnostics from UnRaid help? In the middle of a preclear but can provide them after that.
  5. Wow that's great news! I have no idea why I had to do it on mine. When I googled the problem I found mentions of adding extra lines to the preferences file on the plex forum (in the unraid section) - obviously that didn't work for me. I almost rolled back to rc4 as I thought it was something to do with that. I wish I knew more about what and why it happened.
  6. I completely blew my docker image away. So started from scratch as Plex had only been installed for 2 days as I wanted to test it out. No network changes at all. I have been running between 8 - 13 dockers. Have you tried the ssh tunnel? These were my settings
  7. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong with the network? Sorry to the OP to go off topic I like a challenge and if you think its not right my OCD will make me want to get to the bottom of the problem. As I said earlier I am no IT expert but I'm not daft.
  8. This sounds similar to something I experienced a couple of days ago. I applied an update to a couple of days old plex install via docker and also updated to rc5. I spotted that I had installed the configfolder on the wrong drive (think the lsio template assumes no cache drive?) so changed that to my appdata folder and then suddenly I have no server. Suddenly I can't find my server in plex, I kept getting the screen telling me to download the software. As this was a new install of plex (I had never used it before) I thought that's ok I will just reinstall everything thing for it. So I started from scratch with a new fresh install. I still had the same issue! I can login in via the gui or the iPad app but no server. Out of desperation I wiped my docker image and reinstalled everything from Squids backup/restore app and it still didn't work. Eventually after lots of searching I found that I needed to open a ssh tunnel and connect to the server via that and then it all started to work. https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200288586-Installation Now I just followed instructions lol as I had no idea what I was doing as I'm no it guru - I fix cars for a living lol.   10. I have the same issue as dheg on my system. I discovered the issue as I was going to blow my docker away due to the plex issue below. I am correct in thinking that the restore tab should show the locations of the backups (previous ones) as that is blank too. I've also lost access to my plea server. I did update to rc5 last night as well as apply the other plugin updates that came down. I can't grab a diag file right now, will try and get it in the AM for you.
  11. Sorry for wasting your time it appears I have fixed it. The docker was working ok, I could open the web ui or the app and see all my media it just wouldn't play. See below. I went back into the docker just to check that everything was correct with the mappings etc, and clicked advanced. I then spotted that the transcode directory was empty. I don't know why or how as it had all been working OK the last time I used it - which was about 2 weeks ago. I guess that it was just coincidence that the day after the update was when I discovered the problem. Sorry for a false alert.
  12. I had an email last night saying there was an update for this docker so applied it. I can't get any videos or music to play. I've tried rebooting the server as well as restarting the emby server. Anyone know if I can roll back to a previous version easily. I have backup/restore installed but don't particularly want to restore all my dockers as for some reason emby isn't in the list of apps.
  13. Just rechecked and yes you're right I couldn't get it to change in Win 7 on Firefox or IE. I used the iPad app to make the changes. There are issues with the web ui loading in Safari on the iPad too which I know have been mentioned on the Emby forum. I knew I'd experienced it in some combination, I was trying to change the transcoding directory when I came across it.
  14. Is that using the iPad app? If it is I went though the same issue. I had to change it from my laptop (win 7). It might have been the other way round now I can't recall - it didn't work on one of my devices that's for sure lol. Pretty certain it involved safari though
