[Support] ImSkully - Vikunja
I saw an update for the container, but not seeing any change logs from the Vikunja website. Does anyone know what was updated? Just like to understand before i hit blindly update as i've been bitten in the butt before on that recently haha.

Game Library Manager
Heck yeah this is exciting! I've been loving Gameyfin for a while now, and I've had my eye on v2. Figured it be much longer till release. Nice! This might be the excuse i need to learn to compose it myself haha.

How to enable tailscale for containers that doesn't use (the correct) UID/GID?
For anyone who stumbles upon this later in the future. After upgrading my Unraid to 7.1.4 that fixed my issue. I was previously on 7.1.2 i believe.

If you are still having issues, the docker was updated to say DB_USERNAME and DB_PASSWORD instead. I also had issues is if you change the password you might have to rebuild MARIADB to get it work as it just saves it the once and then doesn't update afterwards. Also i am trying to get the Email/Google login allowance to work so that my users can create their own accounts. I notice i need to add to the .env file, however when i go to that file in appdata its everything to default meaning it does not match my Docker compose settings. Do i need to add a new variable one by one in Unraid docker to get it work? Or can i edit the .env and add what i need? any help would be appreciated!

How to enable tailscale for containers that doesn't use (the correct) UID/GID?
Ive tried doing the side car but once i change the network type on my "Gameyfin" docker to Tailscale-Docker i can't access. WebUI option for "Gameyfin" Docker goes away, and i cannot access at. Any tips to check?

Extra Parameters Root Privilege Error
I am interested what you did. I am getting a similar error with docker "Gameyfin". I've tried the integrated method, and receive the same error. Tried using the fixes as described above just to see if it will get to work but didnt either. Then tried the sidecar docker, and after i map it to Tailscale docker under the network i can't access it at all. I get Tailscale to see and authenticate the new Tailscale docker, but its like its not passing access through to the Gameyfin docker.

[Support] Eurotimmy - RomM (ROM Manager) by zurdi15
I am having issues with getting it to stay started, and can't find the log file to post it here to see whats going on. When i try to view the log while its running the window closes out. I've follow the Youtube video, and the directions setting up Mariadb, and RomM but just can't get it to work. I get the error connection has timed out when going to WebUI, which is where i find that the docker stopped itself. Any insight would greatly appreciated! EDIT: Figured it out. Was an issue with the MariaDB. I had to completely delete old versions of the MariaDB from appdata and start fresh. Fortunately i did not use Mariadb for any other containers at this time so was easy. Then it started to work.

Pre-clear paused - server unresponsive
Good to know for next time, and will stop the Array for pre-clearing. I went ahead and hit pre-clear again to redo it, but it found previous files and was able to start off where it left!

Pre-clear paused - server unresponsive
Started a pre-clear on Monday, and was expecting to come back with it complete last night. I found that it was stuck at 99% zeroing and paused. Tried to resume but did not work. I started to notice that a CPU 0 core was pegged to 100%, and some portions of unraid were unresponsive and not loading. I could start/stop dockers and access SMB, but that was it. Could not get logs to download, etc. So i did a hard reboot. Everything came back up fine and now its all normal. However unfortunately still could not unpause the Pre-clear so i stopped it. I am curious, should i re-run the pre-clear? If so would it be faster since 99% of the drive was zeroed or would it be going through the entire process again? Below is the current SMART of that drive. This drive will be added to the array as a brand new drive just recently purchased.

Made a possibly big mistake. Now can't start array...help!
Roger that, makes sense! I am also in a normal tower as well. I noticed my HDD that i am pre-clearing was getting toasty so airflow was already on my mind i need to address for my server haha.

Use array while pre-clearing?
Thanks appreciate the sanity check.

Made a possibly big mistake. Now can't start array...help!
The first link one! I didnt realize there were two that seem to be the same. I do remember when i was looking initially i couldnt confirm if it was ASM1166, then i saw the one that did say it and went with that one. Do you think the ASM1166 needs a fan to cool as well?

Good to know, thanks! I've got the new drive pre-clearing right now so far so good at the least. The main pinned thread points to ASM, good to know about the LCI cards though for the future.

Which SATA card no name did you buy from? I just purchased one off Amazon and wanting to make sure i didn't fall for the same brand. I purchased a 6 slot BEYIMEI that uses the ASM1166.

Use array while pre-clearing?
I am 99% sure from researching, but wanted to double check that i can use my array (Watch Plex movies, save files, listen music, etc) while a new HDD is pre-clearing using the plugin? I did not add the disk to the array yet and have Unraid do it for me. I went to Tools > PreClear Disk. Would greatly appreciate a sanity check!

Reported Uncorrect - Advice on approach please
It has been going up slowly, however it has passed the extended SMART test. I wasn't too sure how much of an issue the error can pose if i should do a Parity replacement vs. Parity Swap scenario. Sounds like the error isn't progressed to a point where either scenario shouldn't matter. Seems like its early enough just replace it/have contingent HDD with upgraded Parity installed before it does. Thats a good point, do it in maintenance mode to ensure no changes in the parity. And I think ill remove it and work on trying to get warranty as i think i might still be in the window barely.

Is Unraid Forums hosted on an Unraid Server?
Was just curious. I do, and ill keep that noted down for the future just in case, thank you!

Is Unraid Forums hosted on an Unraid Server?
Does anyone know if these Unraid Forums hosted on an Unraid server? Was just thinking would be cool to host my own Forums, as i dislike that lots of people tend to flock to Discord now for that. These forums are one of the better ones and be cool if there was a Docker for such a thing.

Reported Uncorrect - Advice on approach please
Hi, I couldn't find much on the forum for my exact situation and would appreciate any advice on how to approach. The consensus i did find that this drive should be replaced as the errors are coming back after acknowledging them. I ordered a new 8TB EXOS and was hoping to switch my parity drive (4TB) with the new 8TB EXOS, and then use my old parity WD 4TB as part of the array. Then leave the failing drive in the array till it goes out completely. My dilemma is i am not sure sure how to go about replacing the old parity drive and rebuilding the array. My options i figured are below: Remove the old parity drive, insert new one, and rebuild parity. Then insert old parity as party of array and off i go. However, I don't want to risk rebuilding an array with a risking drive, and making a bad parity. I am not too sure how risky it is, am i overthinking it? Buy two HDD to replace both. Insert new HDD1, use unbalance to move data over from failing drive, remove failing drive, rebuild parity. Then remove old parity drive, insert new HDD2, rebuild parity, and then insert old parity as Array. I feel like i am overthinking this now haha. Would greatly appreciate any guidance! Thanks, IaMs12

Game Library Manager
Wanted to post back in case anyone else is looking. Gameyfin is working great and exactly what i was looking for. Makes it way easy for LAN parties to share my game library without having to give access to the server via windows Explorer. It fetches metadata for IGDB, and allows you to see what oyu have. You can then "Download" it to your computer via browser as a zip file and then you unzip/install the game. Its a great browser and thats it. You cannot modify the metadata though which is unfortunate, but its better than nothing right now. Gamevault looks promising in the future to be a "Steam" for at home. Will keep an eye on it as it develops and they move away from RAWG for metadata as that website is no longer maintained/accessible.

Game Library Manager
Was doing little bit more research, and discovered these below. They both have Unraid dockers in the community apps, and from the surface might be what i am looking for. Need to dig into them to see which one I can tweak to my needs. Gameyfin Gamevault In addition, i found another plugin for Playnite called Simple Game Importer that might serve as a work around. I can copy my Game shares folder structure into Excel and use Excel formulas to remove the file path to get the game. Use Simple Game importer to import all the games via the name, and then i can download the metadata as i go along. Before i do all that i will look into the above.

Game Library Manager
Does anyone have a good method of browsing game files that are stored on your Unraid server? For example, i have a bunch of .ISO, .EXE, ZIP files, etc in a Games Share on my server that i have accumulated over the years. Some of through friends, and some as offline backups for my GoG games. I am trying to find a good way to list what i have in that Games share so i can browse what id like to play and then go install it. Manually adding each game to Steam won't work as i don't necessarily want to have them all installed. I am just looking for a nice way to easier show what games i posses the files for, then when i want to play i will install them. I tried using Playnite, it came close, but having a hard time getting it setup. Something like PhotoPrism, but for games. I can go browse what i have instead of list through windows explorer. Would greatly appreciate any insight!

[Support] Djoss - HandBrake
Recently had to delete my docker.img file as i believe it was corrupted and was able to get my other docker containers working again. However having a issue with getting HandBrake re-installed. I've tried creating a new template, as well as using my previous version with same issues. See attached, its failing at the end, and not too sure how to proceed. Would greatly appreciate any advice. Also results in an orphaned Image when going to the docker tab.
