Sorry if this isn't the place to post this. Let me know where I should post it if this is wrong.
Running into the FATAL error, but it doesn't seem to be permission based.

Reading about others that have had this error, it seems it should be permission issues. I've used the console to check folder permissions and everything I can find is either "nobody" or "root" in both the "/mnt/user" (directory and sub directories) and "/mnt/cache" (directory and sub directories).
Plex will not launch in the UI, and today is the first time I've had issues with it. Anyone have a suggestion other than "Delete the Docker and reinstall binhex-plexpass to see if that works?"
Please let me know if you want any more information.
Thanks!

Apologies if this on has been requested a few times already. I did a little searching through the forum and didn't see anything about it.
I'd like the ability to have multiple (more than one) Array. I guess the main reason I could see for doing this is being able to have a massive media library stored on one array, and maybe personal storage for files on a different array. Having multiple arrays would allow you to use different disk sizes for each array and not be limited by the smallest HDD capacity.Example:
(Array 1) - 3 x 10TB HDD + 1 x 10TB parity for mass media storage(Array 2) - 1 x 4TB + 1 x 4TB parity for NextCloud storage with multiple users
I understand you can split the array up into multiple shares, but I guess I'd prefer to have separate arrays to hold different sets of data.

Helllo,
I'm new to unRAID and have run into an issue regarding the shares and a Windows 10 VM.I've got the array up and working with parity and cache. I've also got a "Media" share up and working; it is accessible as a network share inside the VM. However; when I connect to my VPN (NordVPN), I lose connectivity with the local LAN. I need to figure out a way around this...
I am not at all comfortable with Dockers, I just can't get my head around them yet; so I'd really like to stick with VMs and avoid Dockers until I have my setup going and can play with them.
Is there a way to make some kind of network bridge for just Windows Explorer to use? Or is there a way to separate network traffic so all of the internet activity would be behind the VPN, except Windows Explorer so I would still have access to the local LAN and shares?
Thanks for any help. Let me know if I need to clarify anything.
R730XD HBA?
in General Support
Posted
Looking to buy an R730XD to replace my current setup (R710).
But I'm getting a ton of conflicting information when it comes to the HBA I need to use in the new setup.
What HBA would you use in an R730XD to do exactly what an H200 does in an R710?
Thanks!
