Hi there, Apologies for the lack of detail. Specs I have mentioned. That current video that I was watching was a 4k version of LOTR which it didn't seem to be able to stream in Original Quality through plex, through my wired network onto my apple TV. Upon closer inspection of the Status page, I saw that the processor itself had all 4 cores at 100 pct.... Fully red bars. I then had plex convert to 720p rather than play original quality, and that worked better, even though the cpu cores were still on average at 75-90%. My question is this: While I'm sure that changing the motherboard and pc is one possible option, it would be easier to take the load of transcoding etc off the cpu and shift to a gpu. Is that even possible in Unraid? And am I along the right track? Thanks for the help! Much appreciated.

yes it has built in graphics. but i used to access this server from another computers or laptops or sometime uses plex. the only thing which i want to know if i put a pci express graphics card into my cpu will it solve video streaming jerking problem?

Dear Experts, i have a unraid system installed on core i5 4th generation cpu with 8gb ram. there is a problem while video streaming so i think i have to plug a external gpu of ddr3 4gb quadro p2200. will this solve my video streaming problem ? note i use to access this server from another computer and offcourse i will not gonna use its vga port.

Dear Experts, Hope you are doing good. i am a new user of unraid so i have a bit support from experts. My old unraid was distroyed and i have saved the data successfully from that unraid, now i have installed a new Unraid 6.7.2 on a new system and i want to replace all the users and passwords that are being using in the previous unraid. please help me how i can do this? i have attached screenshot of my old usb (unraid installation). All i want is to get in the same scenario like all the users with same old passwords and all the shares. so i dont have to create all the configurations manually. Thank you

thank you so much Trurl, thanks alot. just one more thing i wana ask you. i have replaced the motherboard of unraid/Tower cpu with a new Asus motherboard (previously this was of GigaByte but now i ve purchased New Asus motherboard). my old Unraid os is not working like previously. please let me know what to do now? i have pluged in the same 4 hard drives in this new cpu and the usb os also working but it left me on login screen and i cant connect it with my previous ip address (that was given by my DHCP Server).

😞 so i have lost all my data? should i have to reconfigure all the things? 😞 is there any way to figure out on what port what hard drive was assigned previously? please help

Dear Experts, i was using an unraid tower server since 6 months, today the mother board of tower system has gone burnt and i have disassembled / unplug from motherboard all the drives to repair the mother board. now i am a bit worried that if there is some configuration of sata port 0, port 1 etc. then my server will not work after repaired. please let me know if there is any way to find on what port previously 4 hard drives was installed. thank you.
