  1. I've set up two different systems running unraid 6.7.2 and have had issues setting up Windows VMs. I use the template in the VM creator for Windows Server 2016 and link up the ISO. I start the VM and boot from removable media. And this is all i get. Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem: File: \EFI\Microsoft\Boot\BCD Status: 0xc000000d Info: The boot configuration data for your PC is missing or contains errors. I have this on both unraid systems when creating a Windows Server or Windows 10 VM. I have tried different ISO files and have tried different templates. Has anyone got any ideas?
  2. Two different WD drives (8TB & 10TB), two different systems (ASUS Z8PE-D12X & Poweredge R720), had to format otherwise the systems would hang during POST. The z8pe-d12x would hang while initialising the SAS controller and the Poweredge R720 would hang initialising firmware. Once the drives were formatted, no hangs. Kinda interesting.
  3. Can I just add, something that hasn't been mentioned in this thread which I had to do. FORMAT THE DRIVE BEFORE YOU SHUCK IT! I did have to cover up the 3rd pin on the wd white label drive, but then my system wouldn't post with the drive connected until I formatted the drive.
  4. Having similar issues with my 4 x 4TB disks + 1x 8TB parity. Transfers run at 17 MB/s over a 10G or 1G connection (tested two different network cards). If I passthrough one of the adapters to Windows I get expected transfer speeds. Parity runs at 131MB/s so I know the disk isn't an issue and the "DiskSpeed" benchmarks are good.
  5. I'm brand new to using UnRaid as a NAS and I think I have this issue. I have a 10G connection and it is a nightmare transferring files to / from the array in its current state. Is this a regular occurrence with UnRaid releases? It seems very flaky.
