  1. A shame that as backups are handled so badly by UnRAID one can only assume that LimeTech don't consider them important! We really do need a GUI interface for an easy backup solution, direct from an UnRaid box to an internal and/or external drive(s). Should be easy to set when and what is backed up and how. The fact that we don't have any sort of interface right now had lead me to consider other solutions many times, and is really the only area of UnRaid for which I am distinctly unhappy. Command line simply doesn't cut it for backups - we need a clear, easy to use interface that encourages them. I've tried many a time to get something up and running using existing command line magic, but never succeeded. My array remains without backup, not through lack of trying. I cannot be the only one?
  2. Anyone ever got lmsensors working with a HP Microserver? I've attempted to get it working several times, but always given up without success. Googled lmsensors and followed various instructions, but always without success. If anyone has got it working i would be most grateful for some pointers.
  3. A quick update - a few weeks ago Joe very kindly helped diagnosing a faulty HDD I had just purchased. The replacement drive has finally turned up, and precleared without any errors.
  4. Thanks- thought that looked a bit high for "passed"! I'll ring up for a DOA return tomorrow (7pm here) as the drive is only two days old. Appreciate the help.
  5. Hi Joe, I've been a total idiot. Those smart reports I copied above are dated February 2012, so are for my old drive! If you forgive me for wasting your time, I'll attach the three smart reports produced so far. Currently it is on the post read, still spitting out errors. Regards, Adam. smart_mid_after_zero1_sda.txt smart_mid_preread1_sda.txt smart_start_sda.txt
  6. Thanks Joe. I really appreciate the swift reply. It is now on stage 2 so I'll see what it reports and post result here, if that's ok.
  7. Hi all, - please be gentle! I have a HP Microserver running two Samsung f2 1.5tb drives fine. Trying to add a new Seagate Green 1.5TB and having problems with preclear.
