  1. This is an excellent point, Frank. Thank you. I'll investigate and report back. Thanks again.
  2. Thank you! I saw that as well. Do we know why now Plex is using all the space (it's supposed to only be a tmp folder for transcoding) now as I've been using Plex for year now without filling it up. Is it supposed to "auto-empty" or something?
  3. Hi all.... I've been running Unraid for years and it's been really smooth...to the point that I'm old and I can't remember how to fix most problems. The first symptom was that Plex was been unable to transcode due to full memory. Ran fix-common-problems-plugin and get this: Followed the steps, ran diagnositics (attached) and this: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Squidly271/misc-stuff/master/memorystorage.plg Results attached as well. Please help, I really appreciate it! server-diagnostics-20230924-2218.zip memorystorage.txt
  4. SOLVED! Thank you all so much, especially Constructor! I had built a rig a few months back and it was running great and then I ran into this issue. While investigating, not only did I realize that the usb flash drive was in an USB 3.0 port, I didn't even have a 2.0 port. A quick same-day delivery of a 9 pin to usb 2.0 plate courtesy of Amazon and I booted from that new 2.0 and IT IS ALIVE! Just amazing. Thank you again, awesome community. Have a great Halloween!
  5. You guys are the best! I'll try your suggestions and get back to you. THANKS!
  6. I tried, no errors found. Would it make a difference if i copied the data to a new flash drive?
  7. I think I had a few dirty shutdowns and now when I boot most of my settings aren't there. Also, dockers are all gone, apps are mostly there but their updates are missing, the cache drive and boot drive are listed in the unassigned device section. Please note that I also have an SSD in the unassigned section that always lives there and hosts most of my appdata...see this link. https://forums.serverbuilds.net/t/guide-move-your-docker-image-and-appdata-to-an-unassigned-drive/1478 But of course this drive won't mount now. Attached is my diagnostic log. Is there hope? 😔 Thanks in advance for your help and overlooking my stupidity. tower-diagnostics-20201027-2046.zip
  8. Thanks for your advice, jonathanm. I'm going to think on this for a bit and figure out my next move. Cheers!

  10. Oh wow. So I have 8 drives. What can I do now without mortgaging my home or children?
  11. Thank you, trurl for the great advice. But just for argument sake, let's suppose this was the hardware you had to work with right now. Is there any way to get it to work properly? Thanks again!
  12. Hi folks, I'm a newbie so please be gentle. I have two of these enclosures for my unraid server. Trouble is, I think unraid cannot distinguish between the two. For instance, if I put a drive in the 1st slot of each of the enclosures, only one is recognized. If I take that one out, the remaining drive is recognized. Is there any way to address this or should I just get a different brand for the 2nd enclosure. Thanks in advance for your kind help!
