  1. is it possible to browse the data folder when adding a torrent? So you can select which location to save the file to? instead of them all saving to one location or having to manually type out the location?
  2. Hello, I am having issues with photoprism and the Import folder. When i manually try and copy a photo into the Import folder it tells me "You need permissions to perform this action". I checked my shares in unraid and the SMB share user has read/write. Is there something else that i'm missing for permissions?
  3. Thanks for the reply, I ended up just using SMB for the photosync transfer. Then we can drag the personal photos into the import folder for Photoprism to do its thing. With WhatsApp and other media making its way to the import folder we would see other family photos on Photoprism. Thanks again for the reply and creating the docker container!!
  4. For the PhotoPrism docker, is it possible to upload from photosync to a different folder other than the import folder? I tried mapping a new folder in docker but photosync gives me an error. The reason I want to to this is the phone uploads contain pictures from all folders on the phone and everything gets uploaded to PhotoPrism which we don't want. So, if I could use photosync webdav to upload to a different folder called /Phone Uploads/ then we can manually move pictures into the upload folder.
  5. Thanks for the help @JonathanM, I went in and out of the cache menu and I eventually was able to break apart the pool of the two drives then I was able to erase the 1TB drive and format. The storage space shows correctly now.
  6. Thanks for the info. I still have two of the old disks, but unfortunately due to the 3rd failed disk during the rebuild, I lost a whole disk. I ended up removing all the drives from the server and bought new 8TB hard drives and now moving the data back to the server.
  7. This is a brand new drive out of the box. I replaced my existing 500GB ssd with a 1TB m.2 nvme for the cache drive. As far as I know, the drive was never added to any existing pools. tower-diagnostics-20220218-1459.zip
  8. Hello, I just installed a brand new nvme 1TB drive as a cache drive and once formatted in unraid it shows up as 750GB for the capacity. Anything I can do to regain the additional storage space?
  9. I definitely have data loss on the system due to the 3rd drive failing during the parity rebuild. Disk 10 finished rebuilding this morning but it didn't switch over like normal, it completed the rebuild without errors but stayed as un-mountable. I am currently trying to rebuild disk 8 and 10 again, i'm not sure what else to do. Even with the 2 parity drives, i still ended up in the worse case scenario.
  10. Hello, I have been a long time unraid user with no major issues until now. I am having a bit of a head scratcher here. On Feb 1st at the end of the monthly parity check, 2 HDD's were disabled and showed read errors. I took a screenshot and immediately did a safe shutdown. I received replacement hard drives the next day. While the first hard drive replacement was rebuilding, another hard drive failed during the rebuilding process. This hard drive ended up with a whole bunch of read errors. I do have dual parity drives but my concern is that since another hard drive failed during the rebuild with already two drives failed, wouldn't that mean the array was unprotected? But, why are they shares not showing up any more? I am now rebuilding the last failed hard drive, if you view the folder contents through the GUI, it looks like everything is still there, or is that not true and the folder contents is just a cached drive directory being shown? Quick rundown of the sequence of failure and rebuild Feb 1st monthly parity check (automatic). Received an email stating parity check failed with two drives showing read errors. HDD-10 and HDD-14 failed with read errors. safe shutdown of server to prevent any further loss. Replaced HDD-10 and started rebuild. (Shares were showing up as normal, nothing alarming yet) During the rebuild HDD-9 displayed errors on the main GUI screen, the errors kept counting up but the HDD-10 rebuild did complete. Replaced HDD-9 and rebuild (Shares no longer show up......) Replaced HDD-14 and rebuilding <----- in progress currently. (Shares still not showing up.....) The System Log is filled with this error, but I don't know what to do or what it means. Is this a result of a 3rd drive failing during the 1st rebuild? tower-diagnostics-20220206-2034.zip
  11. i have not been running TRIM on the SSD. I have installed the plugin as you suggested. Thanks for the easy link to the forum thread. I have setup the scheduler to trim daily. I will see if things improve from here. I will have to find another device to hardwire into the network to try the transfer speeds to the unraid server. This should help narrow it down to my desktop PC or unraid server causing the issue.
  12. Hello, I am not sure where to start looking for an issue with the slow write speed to the SSD Cache drive. I am pretty sure nothing drastic has changed with the system or network so i'm kinda stumped at the slow speeds. In the past and since the beginning of the SSD cache drive, I would almost max the gigabit transfer speed at 120MB/s. But now I am lucky to get 80MB/s and average around 50MB/s with my last write transfer sitting at 35MB/s. If anyone has any ideas or needs further info please let me know.
