I do have one question. I set a share to private, created a user set read/write permissions to that share. But on my windows 7 pc when i try to navigate to that share it's saying I don't have access when i put the user name and password. Did I miss anything?

Thanks everyone. I have the system up and running v6.2.4 now.

The upgrade didn't go well I had to revert back to 5.0-beta14. I ran method 2. First I got error "Could not find kernel image: linux". So I copied "syslinux" from "unRAIDServer-6.2.4-x86_64.zip" onto the USB stick. Upon rebooting again the first error was gone and I was getting "SYSLINUX 3.7.2 2008-09-25 EBIOS Copyright © 1994-2008 H. Peter Anvin". It was just stuck there never moving. Has anyone had similar issues and do they have any suggestions?

Most definitely. My apartment has horrible circuitry/groundage. None of the devices ever power off during outage but just that one machine looses connection.

I will try that command next time it happens and let you know. Ya half my apartment is on one UPS and the other half on the other UPS. The UPS are not at full capacity so that isn't the issue. The entire network on the UPS nothing is off. Thanks for everyone's replies. Much appreciated.

Hi, Once in a while the power fluctuates in my building. Once that happens I have to reboot my unRaid server as the network connectivity is lost. Is there a command I can run to fix the network connectivity? Thank you

This can be closed. I found the problem. Was a faulty extension power cable that connected the hard drive to the PSU. Was falling apart... It has been replaced and I have not had the problem since.

We can close this now. I mounted the drive into unRaid event though it was NTFS and did a copy from there.

Thanks what directory runs chmod and where do i put the sh file on the flash drive?
