  1. /mnt/user/system/libvirt/libvirt.img is the file that I deleted with the Settings > VM Manager. Figured that would fix it if it were calling some file that doesn't exist, but that did not. To delete it, I turned off "enable VMs" and used Settings > VM Manager to delete it and recreate it. As for "VM screen;" I'm not entirely sure what you mean. There are no "Windows 10" or "macOS Mojave" VMs anymore, and haven't been for over a year. Do you mean VM Manager?
  2. You'll likely have to use a VM for Plex hardware transcoding, as I don't believe the current Linux version Unraid is using supports the Arc GPUs.
  3. So upon trying to investigate why VM Manager wasn't relaunching, I opened the Libvirt log and see a bunch of errors and warnings. I restarted the server and I was able to see my VMs and VM Manager is working, but I still have these errors in the Libvirt logs. The Windows 10 and macOS VMs have been deleted a long time, so I'm not sure why Libvirt is trying to access them. I've also deleted the Libvirt file. There's also that last line about Input/Output error. Any ideas on a solution?
  4. Thanks, I think I've got it working, though it doesn't automount. I know I need to edit the /etc/fstab file with nano, but I'm reading different instructions from different sources. edit: after a restart/logout when I go back in and navigate to the mounted directory, it's empty, unlike the first time I mounted it.
  5. Yeah I've broken two Linux vms adding "media /mnt/users/media virtiofs 0 0" to /etc/fstab. Dunno why that's not working. Says "failed to mount /mnt/user/media" on startup. If I remove them from fstab at startup it works again. It won't let me edit the xml anymore in Unraid either. ie to add the memoryBacking or <alias name> sections. I also don't know what you mean by "NB: You must create /mnt/unraid first in the VM."
  6. I'm having nothing but problems getting this to work on Linux (I haven't tried Windows yet because of all the other requirements). When I try these commands I get a "mount point does not exist in terminal."
  7. Can we please get some official documentation on how to mount Unraid directly into Windows and Linux VMs with Virtiofs? Documentation is all over the place and I'm having to piece together info from different sources and sometimes from sources years old. Seems a shame to specifically mention it as a feature update and not tell us how to use it.
  8. That's likely a driver issue. Everything I'm seeing suggests it's like last gen AMD cards... hobbled by bad drivers. From what I can tell, ARC is not bad for 1st gen. I wouldn't advise anyone get these full size GPUs for Plex transcoding. Get one of the Arc Pros... they are Quadro competitors and have all the workstation/server features you want but in lower power.
  9. I added a fixed IP address and changed where the server files are stored as it was trying to store on my cache instead of Appdata directory on my pool. So, I should be using the IP address of the host. Do you have an example of how you're using CNAMEs and SRV to get this to work with a domain?
  10. So I've followed these settings and nothing I try allows it to connect over the local LAN. What are your settings for AMP's networking itself? Like the Default AMP IP binding, Default Application IP Binding, Docker External IP? Did you set up the container in Bridge mode?
  11. Thanks. It works with local LAN IP address. Just a thought; should I be port forwarding to the host or the IP address created in the container? I mean, I'm able to hit it on the LAN IP with that container IP address. I've always port forwarded to the host and then docker takes care of the rest.
  12. So, okay I won't worry about proxy, but nothing I'm trying works. I've got a CNAME, and a SRV for each port. No connection.
  13. In regards to Valheim; Can someone share what they are port forwarding on their router and what they are forwarding in DNS? I'm able to get Minecraft to work just fine with a CNAME and SRV, but Valheim doesn't seem to work and I'm reading conflicting information on the net about whether or not that should work. Also; an info on how you set it up to use a proxy would be great!
  14. So V2 was configured correctly for me. I ended up deleting it as I didn't care to preserve anything, and it was spinning up my disks needlessly (I actually left it off so long that it stopped working ultimately, so that's why I deleted it). However, what's happening now is that whenever I try to add a show I get an "Invalid Path" error. This didn't happen with V2, and I think it's an issue with the container paths. I assume the issue is with the /data path. Is this where it downloads files, or is it where it searches for existing media? I assumed this was the /media path. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
  15. Yeah I read about that, and upgraded the plugin while they were still preclearing, then the drive failed again, so I thought I better cancel and start again because maybe the plugin was in memory still. Restarted the server and the icon disappeared, but thanks, now I can find it under tools!
  16. Hello. So I have four 4TB drives preclearing right now. They are used drives that I intend to use for a backup server, so not a huge deal as I got them for $50. One of the four keeps failing around 90% or so. It gives me a "dd process hung at ###" then kills the process according to the logs. Is the drive bad? The reseller wiped the SMART data so I don't know much about the overall health of the drive. Also; I ended up canceling the preclear for the other three drives after they had finished one cycle. Now I can't preclear them because the icon is missing. I wanted to run them for a couple more cycles as well. How do I do that?
  17. Thanks for looking at my post. Are there any instructions for changing the servers via the Wireguard settings for PIA? I've yet to find a guide for setting it up.
  18. Ugh, started the container up today, and now things are downloading. I didn't make any changes.
  19. So, a few months ago I set up DelugeVPN with PIA's wireguard and it worked. I haven't downloaded anything since then, but now nothing is downloading. I can access the webUI just fine, I've tried it with port forwarding on and off, but downloads just sit at "downloading." I cannot find a guide on how to set Wireguard up in the container and unfortunately I can't remember how I did it if the first time. There's a wg0.conf (/appdata/binhex-delugevpn/wireguard/wg0.conf) file that I believe needs to be edited, but I don't know what I should be putting there. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
  20. Looks like the slave shuts down first in this scenario. Takes about 30 seconds for the second server, and longer for Unraid... maybe because it's running more dockers and other things. That command initiated a countdown after the load was off the UPS, I think it was an additional 10 seconds.
  21. Wow, that's cool, that worked! Shut down my Unraid server and my Proxmox server.
  22. Thank you for this plugin. It's been working great for my Unraid server for a couple years now. But now, I'm expanding my homelab, and have another server. I've installed NUT in Proxmox, and think I've confirmed that it can communicate with Unraid. However, I'm having some difficulty testing the UPS. Granted, I could just unplug the UPS to see if it shuts down both the Unraid and Proxmox server, but the outlet is in a difficult to get to place, and it would be nice to be able to test with the Terminal now and in the future. I set NUT to shut down the server after 2 minutes on battery, and then did this command in Terminal: upscmd <<UPSNAME>> test.battery.start.deep I entered the admin username and password and it put the battery into a test mode. However, it never shut down the Unraid server, and thus never sent the shutdown command to the other server? Is there a remote way to simulate a power failure? Thanks!
  23. So, maybe for a week port forwarding on Switzerland wasn't working, but yesterday it started working again and I have an IP address.
  24. So, I think I've encountered an issue with the Lancache-bundle. If the computer I download Steam games on (and presumably other things) is connected to Private Internet Access VPN, then the Lancache doesn't seem to work. It looks like Lancache gets the files in the Cache folder even with the VPN, but when downloading again it doesn't get the files from the cache. I monitored Terminal (docker container stats), and it doesn't work with the VPN active, but it works with out the VPN active. With the VPN off, CPU cycles on Lancache-bundle increase as well as IO, so it's working with the VPN off.
