  1. Hey, I highly appreciate your response but I ended up finding out that those 3 errors were caused by plugins which now have been uninstalled. This still never solved my issue of being unable to pass through my AMD GPU to any VM. This pass through always used to work but all the sudden just didn’t work about 2 weeks ago whilst on 6.8.2. I don’t know what else I can provide you. I’ve tried new unRaid installs and restoring from backups but the issue still persists of just a black screen whenever the card is passthroughed to any VM. I’ve got a NVIDIA card in the system as well which works perfectly fine.
  2. Hey Everyone, I'm currently experiencing 3 errors which are visible once unRaid boots up. vnstat: no process found error: failed to connect to the hypervisor error: failed to connect socket to '/var/run/libvirt/libvirt-sock': No such file or directory I can no longer pass through my amd rx 570 gpu through my macOS vm ever since this error showed up. attached are the server's diagnostics and im unRAID OS 6.8.3 (this error orgianally started on 6.8.2 I have no clue what the issue is and would really appreciate anyones help and support ASAP please. the-server-xxxx-diagnostics-20200315-1011.zip
  3. Hey unRAID, Wondering if anyone can has or knows any sata cards that work with unRAID. I just picked up a StarTech PEXSAT34RH 4 Port PCIe SATA III Controller Card which doesn't work because of its Marvel chipset. Not looking for any features just to add want to add more SATA data connections to my system.
  4. So just to confirm I will not lose any data at all
  5. Just a quick and simple question. I would like to start fresh with unRAID (Install fresh copy of unRAID on USB) I currently have a existing unRAID array with lots of important data on it and I'm wondering on the new fresh copy of unRAID I install can I assign the disks (array + cache disks) without losing any data stored on the array and cache disks.
  6. Alright, I'm going to check later on and let you know what happens, if it works and how it goes. Thanks once more
  7. Hey, I really appreciate your help and support and responding to me so quickly. I'm not an expert at this sort of stuff but from what I can pick up looks like it has to do with the speed of my ram I've got a 2666MHz kit. Could you please explain in noob language. I'd really appreciate that as well man. Thanks
  8. Hello Everyone, I'm new to the unRaid Community and I need urgent help as I'm having terrible issues with unRAID at the moment. I've been on holidays and I've come back to my server finding out a docker Plex Media Server wasn't working I rebooted the server but the server couldn't reboot. I plugged in a screen to a GPU assigned to unRAID and it said it had to force shutdown the server as it wouldn't shut off. Looks like the unRAID automatically created it's own diagnostics file and now appears to be stuck on waiting for docker to die. Once disconnecting power then reconnecting the server booted perfectly except now I can't access the VMs tab as it just tries to load and does nothing and the unRAID decided that it needs a Parity Check yet I did one a couple of days ago. Attached is the diagnostics file. I have no clue what the issue is and would really appreciate someones help and support ASAP please. I'm on unRAID Server OS version 6.8.1
  9. Hey, VMs on a HDDs are shocking, I've got an 860 Pro 1TB SSD and I want to create a share of this SSD by itself. I'm going to use this share to store virtual disks on VMs I've created. Could someone help me set this up if possible. Thanks
  10. Hello Everyone, I am a new user of unRAID and I was wondering how I could convert my physical machine running Elastix CentOS to Virtual Machine in unRAID. If I can't convert am I able to passthrough an drive to the Virtual Machine and set it to boot from that. That passthroughed drive would be my Elastix CentOS installation. Would it boot? Please let me know, anything is highly appricated. Thanks
