    What about these cards?: 1) $10 for 2 x SATA2 and 1xIDE with JMB363 chip set: http://www.ebay.com/itm/180675614643 2) $13 for 2 x SATA3 with ASM1061 chip set: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271014212269 I've also had my eye on that monoprice SIL3132 card, but I understand that the SIL3132 chipset has a max bandwith of 75-88 MB/s per port? Anyone have experience with the cards/chipsets above? -abjr

    Why not just make a "movies" group and add those you want to be able to read from it to the group? Just set the group permissions to read-only. Only the group owner will be able to write to it.
