  1. In THAT case, whatever uses the array would go offline and not work obviously for your particular scenario. But what WE'RE asking is for the VM's/dockers that remain in a stand alone or cache drive. There could also be a way to mark a VM/docker as 'keep in cache/alive' or w.e so that it is not moved to the array. Plenty of ways to implement it really. (Edit) You know when you really look at it, what we want is to be able to keep our internet going while doing w.e that requires the array to go down. Pfsense, ubiquity, homassistant? etc. That's what we're really asking here. These things run mainly in RAM too so I'm not seen what the big problem is.
  2. Same exact issue with me. Cannot get it going again.
  3. Upgraded to 6.11.1 from 6.11 without issues. Thanks LT team!
  4. (user tab) Group settings for users when selecting shares. Basically each created group has pre-set user access for the shares which will make it easier to assign access to users. (share tab) Groups for selected Disks (included, excluded). Perhaps have this also be the same groups as the 'Spinup group(s):'. This will just make things easier to manage, and make these changes in one place (groups) and have it apply in their respective places automatically.
  5. When updating dockers there is a 'please wait' message even though everything is done. Not an actual issue, it just can be a little confusing. PS: Would be nice if we add some color text to completed/errors?
  6. 24+ hrs after update without issues. @TexasUnraid Zoggy posted the commands in this tread for you to see what packets you have running from NP and which ones are installed in unraid. I was running NP before upgrading and then found out I didn't needed any packets. Just run those commands, save the list, then uninstall NP before upgrading. If you have issues with anything you try to run, you can check the list of running packets on unraid vs what you had before to know what is missing and an idea on what packet to install.
  7. Upgraded from 6.10.3 to 6.11 without issues. Also, I thought I was going to need to reinstall some packets but everything seems to be working fine out of the box (at least my usual containers). Great job Limetech! PS: I notice in the latest releases (including this one) having to remove plugins simply because Unraid is coming with these things already, which is a big plus! Again, great job team!
  8. I also have perl and python that I need to use. Holding on upgrading until I hear about this.
  9. Yea same here, I heavily second this. LOVE unraid, but ZFS is sooo nice. Can't wait for the next update!
  10. To claim the server, be sure to login using plex.tv. Then go to the settings under 'account' and you will see the claim button there. Be patient, things are running slow and you may have to do it 2-3 times since a lot of people are doing it too.
  11. Wow same here. Thanks for everything, but please add that link to the top post.
  12. Thanks @Squid, exactly what I was looking for. Making my unraid more and more automated so that 'everything just works' and I have less and less to do on it.
  13. I actually have experienced this in version 6.10.2. It fixed itself by refreshing and/or closing the window and re-opening it, restarting the server. The issue hasn't come back. I'm still on version 6.10.2. I will update later. Updated to 6.10.3 without issues.
  14. Not that I'm aware of. However, you could just export your passwords, and import them on VW.
  15. You should still change it every year at least.
  16. Thanks for the info, as it is not a persistent issue I may be able to live with it until I upgrade to 10G RJ45. I have a 'HP 530SFP+ 10Gb Dual Port PCIe Ethernet Adapter Card 656244-001 w/ SFP' on a EVGA X79 FTW.
  17. As of right now, on NextCloud version 24.0.1, it appears that it only uses CPU (mine doesn't have intergraded graphics). I do have a graphics card that I have setup for docker use, and have tried to add the extra parameters and variables as suggested here but for Nextcloud with no success. It appears that Next cloud is using a plugin for the video playback/streaming. Has anyone setup NC to use a graphics card? Does it work with an iGPU? Thanks.
  18. Agree! I was looking for this too. Honestly, most people setting this up won't need to have the admin panel public facing. In fact, I would prefer a switch on the docker itself to just disable it all together.
  19. I have been getting the errors below. This started after upgrading to 6.10, but I have also started to use Swag along with some other vaultwarden and nextcloud. I happen to caught this once, when it happens the unraid dashboard is unresponsive (dockers appear to continue to work fine). This issue also stops after a while. I appreciate any assistance/feedback. I have removed what I thought was identifiable info, if you need any additional details let me know. 20. @SpaceInvaderOne This does not appear to be working on unraid 6.10. Can we expect an update ? Or do we just need to update the icons location download? Thanks for all your videos by the way.
  21. Explain what happens after you press the power button, take pictures of everything that comes up on the screen, where it hangs/resets/shuts off. Post it on the link provided above.
  22. The amount of brave people without password for the root account is scary.
  23. Yea, I was running the plugin but it wasn't smooth sailing for me. Needed to remove it, re-install, and then select the version that would be applicable to my card as the latest one doesn't support it. (I will be upgrading the graphics card soon). But once that was sorted everything is going super well for me for me so far. Happy to see I can use WSD again without getting cores stuck to 100%. Now all I'm missing from Unraid is ZFS, VM snapshots/backups, and ARC and/or L2ARC #myUnraidWishlist.
  24. Upgraded from 6.9.2 to 6.10 no issues, except plex won't start, getting message of 'Execution error, Bad parameter', and receiving a message from the 'Fix common issues' plugging that 'preclear.disk.plg Not Compatible with Unraid version 6.10.0'. Other than that, Unraid is working well and the other dockers and VM's I've tested work fine. I'll look into the plex issue in a moment, and just have to wait for the the preclear plugging to be updated.
  25. Anyone here really excited to update, but can't because you need the internet to continue to work from home? No? Just me then? Thanks for the update Limetech!
