    O am I correct in thinking that if I create a Btrfs pool on my array I would be OK? I just have several SSDs not in use and was wanting to put them to use

    I currently have a Synology NAS that is used for all my mass storage. I was looking at standing up an UNRAID server mainly to use the apps, dockers, etc features. Is there any disadvantage of using creating a pool with all SSDs? I have several that were purchased for another project that never panned out. Thanks

    What I love: The simplicity of use. After managing servers all day for work it is nice to have the simple interface at home. What I'd like to see in 2020: High availability via multiple servers.

    I currently have a Dell R510 with a PERC H700. The 2 connections from the H700 go to the backplane of the hard drive bay that houses 12 HDDs. I would like a recommendation for a card that I can just install in place of the PERC H700 with only the 2 connection cables to the backplane that will support the 12 HDDs for use in unRAID. Has anyone used the same setup and have experience replacing this card with another that supports the 12 HDDs or can make a recommendation for a direct replacement? Thanks for any input!
