  1. Squid you beat me to it, I had a Duh moment. I caught it right before you posted.. Thanks again..
  2. Squid I am still having this Cache Drive not enable error. I am reposting my diag file for some help. Thanks mistymtnmedia-diagnostics-20190707-1708.zip
  3. I was able to make a container for Traccar server that is posted on the Docker Hub but it did not add any files to the container. Now I can got to the docker hub and pull down the files but since I am not a docker expert is it possible to put the files in to the container manually? Or best can someone build a docker for the Traccar Server to host it locally? This would be great device tracker for Home Assistant. Just a thought
  4. I was just reviewing videos on docker when I saw that it had advance features on the docker.img settings. I was a bit concern that I dorked all this up by just leaving it so all the containers point to the host IP 192.168.0.10. Is it better to put the dockers on their own IP subnet like this topic talks about? Is that the best practice so each devices created in the docker containers gets its own IP address? So if I have two NIC cards what is the best way to utilize them to work best with using Dockers? I was looking at doing maybe some VM in the future. Currently my UnRAID has one IP on one NIC 192.168.0.10 in a /24 network. I have another NIC card installed but currently it is disabled at this time. I am not an expert with some parts of UnRAID and this area I get a bit lost. To get the most out of my UnRAID running Plex, Home Assistant, and other docker what would all the (experts) do to make each docker run smoothly? or does it not matter the way i currently have it in the picture above in other post. I cut out the IP on it but all the 192 are 192.168.0.10 for all the dockers. All of the dockers are setup with the defaults they came with. Thank you for any help you can offer here.
  5. Yes correct I have a flat network without VLAN's (switches do not support it). Maybe tying the NIC together for load balancing may help giving it one IP as the host. It is not a problem now with the dockers using the one NIC I just wanted to keep traffic from beating that one up the entire time. Mainly I am looking for the optimal way to use both NICs in the system to support the dockers. Attached is the dockers I am currently running and yes you are right some are host and some are bridged. I am not that knowledgeable on dockers as of yet so I was just going off the default settings for most. I have to add LetsCrypt docker for home automation next so what IS the best way to run these? And what is best for the use of two NICs? Well there be a conflict with Bridge and Host settings? I did like your idea of putting the dockers in their own network but would my current 192.168.0.0 be the address it sees for usage? or will I have to point it to a new network say 192.168.1.0 for devices?
  6. So even with two NICs it is not possible to split the two sections of docker? I would prefer all traffic to flood one NIC so what your best advise if you have two NICs installed? I remember you saying in another post you had two NICs what would be the best optimization for just dockers no VMs?
  7. Question to add to this. If I have two NICs with two IPs, one for each NIC how can I separate say Plex docker on one IP and say Home Assitant, MQTT, and HA supported dockers on the other NIC? So in theory I would like to keep all Plex, Tautulli, and Ombi traffic through one card and all home automation to the other card? Is it possible or would it be best to divided it like the begin post suggests?
  8. Ah! Not sure on why they are there.
  9. Yeah that is what I saw after I shutdown the dockers it just stopped filling up. Before that it was notifying about every minute after 70% full that it was getting more full. It got to 98% when I decided to shut down the dockers for a few to make sure it was not one of the new dockers I installed. So far it seems to have stopped. It ran all night without any issues but I would still love to know what happened.
  10. At the time only a two Media share for Plex and the other is a Music Share. I have an Ebook share but it has nothing in it at this time. The Camera Backup share was an experiment but its empty and not used. I attached my Share directories to this post. I checked them all but did not find those .cfg files. Am I setting the Shares up wrong? I was not sure about the public / secure / private setting enough to really change them. I would like to keep it all private but did not want to dork up the process since everything is working so good. I also added a pic of the inside of the cache folder.
  11. Well I had a strange thing happen today. I was getting warning notification that the cache was filling up. I was not at home so I could not check it at that moment but it when from 70% full to 98% full in an hour. It normally is barely ever over 5% usage. Once I got home I could not seem to find why it was doing it so I stopped all the dockers and restarted them. That seem to clear the issue out. Checking the logs I got a lot of these errors "Failed to delete conntrack state for 172.17.0.7: invalid argument" under the docker log. I could not figure it out what the issue was so I am attaching my diagnostic file for the smarter folks can help. I appreciate all the help this forum has given me over the years.. Happy Holidays folks! network-diagnostics-20181223-1954.zip
  12. Yeah everything seems to be set correct. I get the test message but when I generated a test report it seem to do nothing. Not sure what the issue is.
  13. Thanks for information, I saw in the configures you can link the NIC too but I was not 100% sure on using that. I would think it is ok to use two IP addresses connected to a managed switch would do ok. It would assume it is two different systems on the same network. Humm may have to really think this through I just beefed up my system with a new mother board, CPU, and memory got it all working smooth now. I hate to throw a wrench in the works at this point. Thanks again.
  14. Ok I have looked around for an answer for this question but have not found one that seems correct. Can you have more than one NIC in an UnRAID system? Is this advisable to do? Can it load balance traffic or could one docker use that card vise the other? I am just curious since I have one GiG Nic on the system now and I am running Plex for now but would like to add more apps without it taking away from the media streaming. I would like to know if it is a good idea to have more than one NIC in the system or will the system go nuts? Thanks Greg
  15. @ninthwalker I have a question. I set up the NowShowingV2 docker on UnRAID put in the required information and tested the tool/Announcement Email to see if it sends. It worked perfect! I tried to do a test report and a On-Demand report but never received any emails. Plus the Web interface is still showing nothing but the "you must go to admin" part. So not sure what is wrong if the email sent on the announcement part but not on the others. In addition, is there a way to have NowShowing come up in Plex like a plugin? Or even a Roku Channel?
  16. Right understand the same port part I just have everything labeled so made sure they were all back to the same way they were. Really do not know what caused it but after I ran it on the GUI bootup it all set back in the right settings. All was good at that point. Yeah that is what I was figuring and was a little surprised when it had settings as if it was a new system. I figured that changing it out would not matter what hardware it was as long as it was compatibility to the listed hardware on the site, which I did match it all. Again surprised me but glad it was up and working. I wanted a more streamline and faster UnRAID so all is good.
  17. I was thinking that too but I know I double checked all the connections and USB before booting it up for the first time. After I realized there was something wrong I rebooted it into the GUI choice (second one down) to get a better look. At that point it was all working fine....honestly have no clue what could have happened.
  18. Yeah not sure... did not mess with the USB at all and it was in same USB2 position as last board. I fixed it in BIOS to read the USB and it booted to the command line UnRAID first. That is when I noticed it did not look the same, so I rebooted and went into the second choice down which was the GUI version. When it came it up it seemed it was all back to normal. All the drives in the right places, IP address was right, and so on. The only issue was it dorked up Plex Docker some but easy fix. I double check everything before booting so I know the USB was in correctly during boot. Got me what happened but it seemed to work it self out. I tried to delete this post but it would not let so just changed it to Solved.
  19. Sorry it took awhile I had a CPU die so had to switch out motherboards... rocking with better one now. mistymtnmedia-diagnostics-20181208-0108.zip
  20. Ok I had a CPU on my UnRAID fail (it was 10 years old) so got a newer motherboard that was pretty much the same but instead of four SATA's it had six SATA ports. The CPU is way better and more memory. I configured it all back the same with each drive going to its same SATA ports as before. I booted it up and it comes up with "Tower Login" like it is a new tower (expected some of this). So login in as root which didn't prompt for password so it must have got to a generic login since it does not know that NIC card, CPU, Memory, etc. The question I have is from the command prompt is there a way to into some setup mode to assign the drives back on the array and fix network setting and stuff? Or is there a better way? Update found if you go in through the GUI login you can fix it all.....sweet!
  21. Ok I just fixed my entire UnRAID by upgrading all the drives to xfs and the cache to btrfs. I only have one cache right now until my two SSD show up. I was resetting all the things I turned off while moving data which was the Scheduler. Once I turned it on I got a new error I never seen before. I researched the forum but could not find a match for this error which was under Mover Schedule "Cache disk not enabled!" I checked to make sure the Cache disk was enabled and it was so I have not clue what it is referring too. I attached a pic of it. Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks
  22. So best place to put appdate is mnt/cache or still keep it on mnt/user? I have it set for cache prefer now. Now don't have the cache pool yet just single cache drive that is coming very soon. I just want to make sure I don't move it if it is in right place.
  23. @Jonathanm Ok I 100% agree on that just trying to move it all to Cache since I am adding new SSDs to create a cache pool, however being new I ended up putting the appdata on mnt/user (oops). I am just trying to make sure everything is in their right places. So Media is User Shares and all the background system stuff on cache like dockers, etc.
