  1. I checked that one out too at first but seemed clunky.
  2. If that is the case where is the best location to keep Appdata then? I noticed it was spread across all DISKx drives but it shows it was slated for mnt/user.
  3. Thanks Squid that was what I was looking for. I using UnBalance but just installed Krusader today. Any tips on moving it all around without losing anything or corrupting any data?
  4. Well I though since it does that anyway or would it be best to fill up from drive 1 on until drive 6? My fear is I lost drive one and it does not rebuild right so I lose more. if spread out I don't lose as much if one fails. This is where I am unsure of the right way to do the drives.
  5. I just moved all my data around to convert to xfs using the instructions posted in the forum. I used UnBalance to move the data from one full drive to another empty one until they were all converted over. The question I have is some drives have more than others. Is there a way the evenly transfer the data equally across each drive? I looked around UnBalance but it only scatters the data. Is there another tool to equally transfer the data over all the drives?
  6. I have read through the "Format XFS on replacement drive / Convert from RFS to XFS" which was very easy to follow. I got the data moved over and cleared two drives for conversion but I am missing the format part. Where do I go to format them? I know when you put a new drive in it does right then but how do you invoke a format on drives already in the array? I have searched the wiki and forum for the answer but I seem to be missing the solution so appropriate any help. Thanks ahead!
  7. John_M, Thanks that is exactly what I was looking for I just didn't know what was better between the two. I think XFS would be best for a large Plex Media Server then. v/r, Greg
  8. I have searched the forum for this answer and the FAQ too. When you are building the UnRAID and it is time to format the drives which is the best to use? I see the choice of Reiserfs and others, but what is the best for saying using an application like Plex? I have been using the Reiserfs since I built mine many years ago but I feel that may not have been the best approach so I am asking the experts here on suggestions.... Thanks ahead!
  9. Has anyone figured out why it triggers an attack while copying files over to the shares? This just started to happen about end of Feb and to fix you have to reboot the server. I was having no issue with it before then and it has worked great up until then. No major changes that I know on my part unless an update changed it. Just curious I love the plugin but if it keeps doing this I am going to have to disable it since I load stuff to it from SMB connect often. Thanks ahead if someone has figured it out.
  10. Yeah did Bios Update. I have ignored it but it still fills up in Fixer apps, is there a way to ignore without it posting all the time?
  11. I have looked all over the Apps section and the forum and I know this has come up before but no luck on finding a solution. I have had the UnRAID lose connection to internet at times but is there a plugin or tool that can monitor and or alert if this happens? In addition, is there a tool to test connectivity or am I missing it? Thanks ahead... Greg
  12. Wow been a week now no one knows how to fix this issue?
  13. This error started about 6 months ago and I was told it was no big deal but it is driving me nuts. I was told it was a USB issue but only thing in USB is keyboard / mouse and connection to UPS which are all working fine. irq 19: nobody cared found on your server I have uploaded the diag file too... Yes I know I have an issue with drive 3 working that out with another member. Thanks ahead for any help to remove this error. unraid-diagnostics-20171118-1754.zip
  14. Yeah did that with the right stuff and it said it worked but then during the rebuild tree it had all those errors... I am thinking the drive died. Now I hope to switch it out and the data would be recreated from parity but not much faith on that. First time I have lost a drive so far.
  15. Ok ran the rebuild-tree which took forever but too big to copy and paste so I am attaching it. I think the drive is fubared. Rebuild-Tree_Output.txt
  16. Oh ok I was a bit confused on the /dev/md6 part so in my case it is drive 3 so /dev/md3 then. Can I run it all again without issue?
  17. I am in maintenance mode now and it stated that if the drive is file system type "reiserf" then run the "reiserfsck --check" and follow what it instructs. So should I just run it as you posted above? I was following the instructions on the post you sent me.
  18. Here is what happen when I ran "rebuild-tree" MistyMtnMedia:~# reiserfsck --rebuild-tree /dev/sdd reiserfsck 3.6.24 ************************************************************* ** Do not run the program with --rebuild-tree unless ** ** something is broken and MAKE A BACKUP before using it. ** ** If you have bad sectors on a drive it is usually a bad ** ** idea to continue using it. If you are sure that you had the reiserfs on this partition, then the start of the partition might be changed or all data were wiped out. The start of the partition may get changed by a partitioner if you have used one. Then you probably rebuilt the superblock as there was no one. Zero the block at 64K offset from the start of the partition (a new super block you have just built) and try to move the start of the partition a few cylinders aside and check if debugreiserfs /dev/xxx detects a reiserfs super block. If it does this is likely to be the right super block version. Aborted
  19. Yep running that now it takes a while and I will post output.

  21. Humm don't have anything on the USB but keyboard and mouse that is strange. Anyway it told me to do a -rebuild-tree after it so I ran that. It did the rebuild tree all the way but came out saying "no reiserfsck metadata found" Now a newb at most of this how to I get the output? I had to run all this from terminal since it would not work on the GUI part of UnRAID.
  22. Well ran the --rebuild-sb following the instructions above from Johnnie.Black but no joy it did the SuperBlock without an issue but once I ran --check again it still had some issues with the disk. The disk is /dev/sdd is coming up each time as unmountable, now I really hate to lose the data so is it possible to replace disk and the parity puts it back on? Never had to replace a drive yet. I do have two other issues: Call Traces found on your server and irq 19: nobody cared found on your server I updated the BIOS like some said to fix "irq" error but not joy there. Just got the Call Traces in the last 6 months. Any help would be great. I attached another copy of diag after I ran the " reiserfsck --rebuild-sb" diagnostics-20171102-0028.zip
