  1. I have a disk that after a reboot just unmounted and could not remount. It says that I need to run Check Filesystem Status since it is a Reiserf disk. I did the "Check" and it came up with the following: reiserfsck 3.6.24 Will read-only check consistency of the filesystem on /dev/md3 Will put log info to 'stdout' reiserfs_open: the reiserfs superblock cannot be found on /dev/md3. Failed to open the filesystem. If the partition table has not been changed, and the partition is valid and it really contains a reiserfs partition, then the superblock is corrupted and you need to run this utility with --rebuild-sb. I ran a check with the --rebuild-sb but it then asked this: reiserfsck 3.6.24 Will check superblock and rebuild it if needed Will put log info to 'stdout' reiserfs_open: the reiserfs superblock cannot be found on /dev/md3. rebuild_sb: wrong version what the version of ReiserFS do you use[1-4] (1) 3.6.x (2) >=3.5.9 (introduced in the middle of 1999) (if you use linux 2.2, choose this one) (3) < 3.5.9 converted to new format (don't choose if unsure) (4) < 3.5.9 (this is very old format, don't choose if unsure) (X) exit Here is where I am stuck I chose "1" but it just goes back to instructions again. How to I get it to complete the rebuild? I put diag too on this post just in case I am missing something. Everything has been working great up until reboot. Been getting a IRQ 19 error but not sure what is causing that. Thanks diagnostics-20171101-0922.zip
  2. I had this same error pop up yesterday and I have not made changes in months. Also getting a irq 19: nobody cared which I have no clue what that is. I have attached the Diag file for some help. mistymtnmedia-diagnostics-20170304-0248.zip
  3. For some unknown reason I have a file under my media section that has the permissions set for root/root when all the others are set to nobody/user. How can I change to match the others? Can I do it from the GUI interface or do I have to do it from the command line (beginner there). Any help would be great appreciated.
  4. I just started getting a Call Trace Error on the Fix Plug-in and I am not that good with UnRAID to read the under lying issue. I have attached the diagnosis report from the system in hope someone smarter than me can get me in the right direction to fix it or what is causing it. It says Kernel or Memory issue so not sure. Thanks ahead v/r, Greg unRAID-diagnostics-20170206-1415.zip
  5. Yeah same here, just waiting on a solution for it.
  6. bonienl, I had a question about this bonding part. First what is the need for it? Does it allow for load balancing? I currently have a 10/100 NIC that is on-board but I want to put a 1000 NIC in on the PCI-E x1 slot but I have found 1 to 4 port cards and was curious if doing this would help speed up connections to the system if you are using it for mainly media like Plex. I am trying to get an understanding why this feature is there and how I am use it to improve the system. Thanks ahead.... Greg
  7. This may be something someone has fixed before but I searched through the forum for it and found where people asked but never got an answer. On monitor to the unRAID it showing the below after reboot. login: grep: /etc/php-fpm.d/www.conf: No such file or directory grep: /etc/php-fpm.d/www.conf: No such file or directory grep: /etc/php-fpm.d/www.conf: No such file or directory grep: /etc/php-fpm.d/www.conf: No such file or directory grep: /etc/php-fpm.d/www.conf: No such file or directory It just keeps scrolling up the screen about once a day or so. Any clue on this would be great or help getting rid of it. Now above it I sometimes get this which may be related. default via 192.168.1.1 dev eth0 linkdown 192.168.1.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.1.15 linkdown The 192.168.1.1 is wireless router The 192.168.1.15 is unRAID Thanks again for any help.
  8. Chip, If you figure out what the "grep:/etc/php-fpm.d/www.conf: No such file or directory" is let me know I have been getting it off and on over the last month. It does not seem to affect anything just keeps scrolling up the terminal screen. Thanks
  9. I started having the same sort of issue too, but cannot access via WebIP from any device at this time (android, windows, or linux). If I reboot I can get in for a moment then is stops again.
  10. My UnRAID has been working great for months now without any issue. The plug-in updater has been working like a champ with schedule downloads of updates and doing pushes to tell me when UnRAID updates are out. In the last month or so the interface has not worked at times until I rebooted the system. It will work for a few times and then not allow me to use the web interface to the dashboard anymore (until I reboot again). Now using Filezilla works find to get into the system, the main terminal works fine too, it is just the web interface. In addition, application dockers like Plex are working fine too, just can get in to admin anything on web interface. I did get the below message on terminal screen but I am clueless if it is part of the issue. ______________________________________________________________ unRAID Server OS version 6.2.4 default via 192.168.32.1 dev eth0 linkdown 192.168.32.0/24 dev eth0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.32.15 linkdown ______________________________________________________________ I can reach the address of 192.168.32.15 for Plex but not unRAID's interface so the connection is working. I am not sure what the issue maybe but if anyone knows I appreciate the help. Attaching Diag of system... Greg tower-diagnostics-20170101-2254.zip
  11. Yeah mine is up and running but I am thinking it is not updating the site either but I place money on the issue being with HughesNet since they double NAT the network. Still trying to work around this issue but it seems impossible at this time.
  12. Coppit, Thanks I actually reloaded it with your command line version and it seems to work. Not sure what I did.
  13. After a little configuring on the .conf file I was able to get it up and running but I get this error in the log. Everything I enter is correct and there is no error codes on that website that matches it. Any help would be great... now not sure if it mattered where it ran from but I put the conf file in /mnt/cache/appdata/No-Ip vise the default one on the user drive. I didn't know if it would make a difference. /tmp/noip.conf: line 1: $'\357\273\277#': command not found [sep 19 00:33:38] For an explanation of error codes, see http://www.noip.com/integrate/response
  14. Ok thanks I have spare brand new ones so onward and up. Thanks for all the help.
  15. Here is a screen shot of attributes. I take that back I ran a extended self test and got errors so replacement it is... I attached the SMART report too.. 16. Ok I know once a new drive is put in it cleans it and formats it, however what about a drive that has been in the system? I had a drive it is about four years old start to get some errors in SMART attributes so I moved all the content off the drive. I was thinking if I formats it again it may mark the bad sectors and it can be used. I did buy a new one to replace it but hate to waste drives. I did a self-test and it came back with no errors. Any help on this would be great since I did not see any plugins or dockers that allowed for formating a disk in the array even if you shut it down. Thanks Greg
  17. Oh really maybe that is why I couldn't do it. I have your CA Auto Update but I could not figure out how to base it on schedules. Thanks
  18. I had ransomware on a laptop which blows but it could have jumped to UnRAID if I was connected so I am liking this Feature Request for more protection.
  19. I love the automatic update for the plug-ins but I run Internet on HughesNet (aka crapnet) which has a time at 2am to 8am to download large masses of data. The automatic updater does not allow for setting a time frame to perform updates. The same would be great for dockers too like if I have to make a change to Plex I stop it and then restart it updates but a scheduler of some sort would be great. I have tried blocking the request sites on my router but very cumbersome to make sure every site is blocked during normal hours and open during the mass download hours. I am burning through my data usage way too fast per month. I hate to turn off automatic update since it works very well. Any help on an enhancement would be outstanding. Thanks ahead. Greg
  20. Squid, I looked to see if this was covered in the postings some where but I am did not find it. Are these a false positive or something I need to really look at? They are under "other comments" so I was not sure before ignoring them. Could not perform unknown plugins installed checks The download of the application feed failed. Could not perform docker application port tests The download of the application feed failed. Thanks for a great plugin! Greg
  21. testdasi, Thanks that is what I am going to do is stay with "most free" and just let it do its thing. Thank you all for the help and advice. v/r, Greg
  22. John, Yeah that is what I thought too... I just kind of noticed it doesn't evenly divide the stuff across all drives assigned to share as well as I would like. I have not had a failure yet but I hope if I do it will recover fine. Thanks Greg
  23. I have searched the forum for a solution but I have not found one that actually gives a definitive answer. When I started UnRAID I had to 2TB drives for storage of just media for Plex which was putting the data on the drives evenly. Over time I got two more drives of 2TB each but I wanted to know is there a plugin that will re-balance the drives to equal levels? I looked at rsync and plugin unBalanced but it is just mainly moving it from one disk to another. I am not sure there is a solution yet to evenly re-correct each drive to create equal spacing. I am just hoping I missed something in the forum that may help out. Thank you all for the great advise you have given since I started using UnRAID. v/r, Greg
