  1. I was a bit confused on the Plex Plugin with the additional plugin for the Plex Updater. Once it is installed on the UnRAID through a reboot can you remove the PlexMediaServer-x.x.x.x.x-unRAID.txz ? For some odd reason after rebooting again it reinstalled it and reset everything back to the beginning. I never had this happen in the past but I did notice that if the updater was installed it would go out and bring down all newer copies. If that is true then why do I need to keep the install txz file in the boot/extra directory? Thank ahead for any help
  2. Bonienl, What ended up being the fix for this (peter_sm original post) ? I had the same issue below but couldn't locate a fix for it. file /boot/packages/sqlite-3.7.13-i486-1.txz: downloading from http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-14.0/slackware/ap/sqlite-3.7.14.1-i486-1.txz ... http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-14.0/slackware/ap/sqlite-3.7.14.1-i486-1.txz: 2013-02-17 16:18:47 ERROR 404: Not Found. bad download, deleting Some modifications need to be made to the webserver *.plg file. Have patience
  3. Thanks for the information so far! I am trying to pick the right plugin to use without causing any issues with the UnRAID.
  4. Since most of you all are the experts what is the difference in UnMenu vs. SimpleFeatures? or is it just personal preference on GUI interface? I am assuming you cannot run both of them or it may dork things up? I am currently running rc-15a, which worked fine on the upgrade but had no plugins when I did it, so now I am ready to do the plugins but having a hard time determine the best ones to use . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Greg
  5. Hey thanks for the reply funny thing is I saw your posting about doing a check disk and figured out the rest from your sig. Thanks a bunch solve two issues at the same time.
  6. I just upgraded to the new 5.0-rc15a and had no issues with anything when it come to the UnRAID software itself. Now I had some issues with various plugin so I wanted to remove all of them and then re-install the only ones I really needed. I think it is an issue with Simplefeature but not sure, so I just wanted to remove all of them just to bring me back to the just the original UnRAID software only with its GUI interface. Any help would be great! Thanks
  7. Excellent I got it now. Thank you so much for quick response. That is what I was thinking but was not completely sure.
  8. I first want to say UnRAID exceeded my expectations on recovery. I had a drive fail replaced it with a like size and in an hour was up and running again. So excellent job on an outstanding product! Now for my question which I am a bit confused on at this time. I just upgraded to the PLUS version and was looking at putting more drives in but I was not clear on the overall capacity of the drives. If I have a 2Tbs Parity Drive can I not exceed that limit on the overall set of drives? So if I had 2 500Gbs and 1 Tbs drive then I have a total of 2 Tbs and that is as far as I can go? That is where I am a bit confused. Because the price of 1Tbs drives is coming down and if I replace them all to 1Tbs drives then I would quickly exceeded my 2Tb Parity Drive. I do know that the normal drives cannot exceed the parity drive so I could not put one 3Tb drive into the UnRAID box but I was not clear of the overall total. Anyone that can help with this it would greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead Greg
  9. Yep did all that too thinking the same but not dice on it..... humm.... just a minor glitch since I can map to the share it is fine but I was just curious if anyone had this issue. Thanks for the help!
  10. Yep changed it.... hum I am not getting prompted to enter it... humm...
  11. Ah I will check that out..thanks!
  12. That figures... There is no reason why someone would think that the press of a physical button would bring the system down better then from command line.. Actually on the server I have if you hit to power button it sends to graceful shutdown of the system. It does the same as a Reboot -h on the system.
  13. Humm I have not seen that and I am using the Simplefeatures gui
  14. Now for a time the shares were showing up in Windows and I had to rebuild my UnRAID to fix a Plex issue. Everything is working great, same shared folders as before, same settings, and nothing! I can map to the share just fine but before the UnRAID server was showing up in my network neighbors but no longer able to do that. All the settings are the same only other changes is I was at 5.0-rc4 AiO up to 5.0-rc5 AiO but not sure that caused this issue. Any help would be much appreciated and thanks ahead! Greg
  15. The web GUI needs a way to shutdown and reboot if needed. This would include a graceful shutdown if needed and same for the reboot. There are times I have needed to do that and had to run to the lab to do a graceful shutdown (yes you could do it from a telenet but not as graceful at you can from the power button). Just a thought for future add-ons.
  16. I am sure this has come up before but I think this web interface needs some type of security (username/password, token (aka YubiKey), or something). Even though my network is security from the outside I really do not want someone getting in if they bypass my security. Just a thought....
  17. Forum, I have looked around on here and several other forums for an answers to modifying to menu graphics that are displayed on either Roku or the PC Plex Media Center. Is there a way to add graphics to the menu on UnRAID so if you make a collection under movies you can put cover art to it? or some type of graphics for genre, dates, etc. Currently there is a blank icon it puts in for everything that does not have graphics for it. I am just curious if anyone has been able to change them to include the general icons below: Thanks
  18. This may have been answered before but I could not find it. Has anyone ever looked at the new Kingston 8GB DataTraveler Micro USB 2.0 Flash Drive or the Lexar LEHZE8GBASBNA Echo ZE 8 GB USB 2.0 Backup Drive to make into boot drives? I was just curious since they are a very small form factor that will fit nicely on the back of the server without it protruding out very far. I read on the site that some thumbdrives do not work will and just did not wan to get either of them until I received some feedback from the forum.
