  1. I'm running into the same issue as well. I've ran reiserfsck and SMART checks on all my drives and they all seem normal. I've also deleted all of the .AppleDB, .AppleDouble, and .AppleDesktop files on my drives. But I'm still getting errors with mover and my cache drive. The files get copied over and correct folders get created, however, they simply do not get deleted from the cache drive. If we can't fix this, is there a way to modify mover to forcefully delete the files on the cache drive if they were moved (hacky but will get us what we want)? I've also attached my syslog. syslog.txt
  2. Nope, everything's in English and everything I have has been renamed from Sickbeard.
  3. Oops, didn't realize that my syslog didn't attach. Here it is. syslog.txt
  4. I've been running into an issue where mover does not delete files on my cache drive even though it successfully moves them to one of my disks, and in general, is giving me the following error whenever it is running for all folders/files on the cache drive: rsync: get_xattr_data: lgetxattr(".","user.org.netatalk.supports-eas.7mE3lc",0) failed: Exec format error ( I'm running 5.0rc8a with no addons. I've ran memtest and ran reiserfsck on all my disks - both checked out fine. I also created a new user share since I ran into this issue (copied data from the existing one into the new share), and have tried running mover manually, but am still getting the same error. My user share is currently set to high-water, split level 5, and with a minimum free space of 30GB, and all drives currently have more than 300GB of free space. Cache drive is setup to have a minimum free space of 20GB. Whenever the cache drive is COMPLETELY empty, mover runs fine since there's nothing to move: Oct 21 00:37:04 narin-nas emhttp: shcmd (162): /usr/local/sbin/mover |& logger & Oct 21 00:37:04 narin-nas logger: mover started Oct 21 00:37:04 narin-nas logger: skipping */ Oct 21 00:37:04 narin-nas logger: mover finished However, whenever I create the user share folder with a couple empty folders inside (and made sure all directories are owned by nobody:users with 770 permissions), I get the following instead: Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas emhttp: shcmd (164): /usr/local/sbin/mover |& logger & Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: mover started Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: moving narin/ Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: ./narin/test Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: rsync: get_xattr_data: lgetxattr(".","user.org.netatalk.supports-eas.7mE3lc",0) failed: Exec format error ( Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: .d..t...... narin/ Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1042) [sender=3.0.7] Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: ./narin/test1 Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: rsync: get_xattr_data: lgetxattr(".","user.org.netatalk.supports-eas.7mE3lc",0) failed: Exec format error ( Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: cd+++++++++ narin/test1/ Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1042) [sender=3.0.7] Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: ./narin/test2 Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: rsync: get_xattr_data: lgetxattr(".","user.org.netatalk.supports-eas.7mE3lc",0) failed: Exec format error ( Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: .d..t...... narin/ Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: cd+++++++++ narin/test2/ Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1042) [sender=3.0.7] Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: ./narin/test3 Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: rsync: get_xattr_data: lgetxattr(".","user.org.netatalk.supports-eas.7mE3lc",0) failed: Exec format error ( Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: .d..t...... narin/ Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: cd+++++++++ narin/test3/ Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1042) [sender=3.0.7] Oct 21 00:40:35 narin-nas logger: mover finished All test directories (test, test1, test2, test3) got created on one of my disks in the correct user share folder, but they were not deleted from the cache drive. Permissions for the folders on the cache drive still remain as nobody:users with 770. I've also tried to simply leave an empty user share folder on the cache drive and still get the same sort of error: Oct 21 00:43:16 narin-nas emhttp: shcmd (165): /usr/local/sbin/mover |& logger & Oct 21 00:43:16 narin-nas logger: mover started Oct 21 00:43:16 narin-nas logger: moving narin/ Oct 21 00:43:16 narin-nas logger: ./narin/ Oct 21 00:43:16 narin-nas logger: rsync: get_xattr_data: lgetxattr(".","user.org.netatalk.supports-eas.7mE3lc",0) failed: Exec format error ( Oct 21 00:43:16 narin-nas logger: .d..t...... narin/ Oct 21 00:43:16 narin-nas logger: rsync error: some files/attrs were not transferred (see previous errors) (code 23) at main.c(1042) [sender=3.0.7] Oct 21 00:43:16 narin-nas logger: mover finished I've also tried making a folder that wasn't a user share and it looks like mover is correctly ignoring it: Oct 21 00:48:52 narin-nas emhttp: shcmd (166): /usr/local/sbin/mover |& logger & Oct 21 00:48:52 narin-nas logger: mover started Oct 21 00:48:52 narin-nas logger: skipping test/ Oct 21 00:48:52 narin-nas logger: mover finished Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've been trying to troubleshoot this issue for several weeks now, but haven't figured anything out. I'm at the point where I think I may end up ditching the cache drive altogether. syslog.txt
  5. I recently updated my unRAID from one of the beta versions of 5.0 (forgot which one it was) to rc8a and now mover is causing errors and sometimes crashing my server. I have 1 parity drive, 4 storage drives, and 1 cache drive. The cache drive is almost empty and has a minimum storage of 10gb. My storage drives are all 3TB, two of them full, and the user share is set to high-water with a 30gb minimum space and a split level of 5. I've attached what the log is spitting out whenever I run mover manually. I updated permissions, not running any plugins, no corrupted disks, and memtest ran fine. log.txt
  6. I built my file server a couple months ago with a 64GB cache drive and two 3 TB hard drives which filled up pretty quickly. I didn't know too much about unRaid and had the User Share set to High-water with no minimum free space and no split level. I recently added two additional 3 TB hard drives to my server and all was well until I filled up my first two hard drives. Ever since then, mover generates an error saying "No space left on device." I'm not really sure what to do at this point. I've switched the minimum free space to 20GB, set the split level to 99 (since I don't really care about how things are being allocated across the drives), and restarted several times. Yet still, mover keeps on saying there's no space left on device. The logs look like it's only trying to move to disk1: Sep 16 15:32:20 oov-nas shfs/user0: shfs_setxattr: setxattr: user.org.netatalk.supports-eas.YaK7UE /mnt/disk1/oov-nas (28) No space left on device My most complex file structure is with the TV shows which looks like: oov-nas/tv shows/show name/season number Technically, I think I should be using split level 4 and I've tried it, but I'm still getting mover errors. Also, recently, a lot of my folders on the drive have been set to read-only. I've had to telnet in and manually change them to writable. I'm not sure what's causing this issue either.
