Hi, I had a power outage last night and woke up to my server rebooted. When I start the array the GUI stop responding. but I can still access SSH Dockers that autostart work. I tried with docker disabled before starting the gui with no change. also tried /etc/rc.d/rc.nginx-fpm restart /etc/rc.d/rc.php-fpm restart How do I access the logs needed to troubleshoot using the command line? Any help would be greatly appreciated Ive got a important VM instance I use for my job everyday on this server.

Sorry I got confused on the drive configuration. It used to have more drives that have been pulled awhile back. The Seagate ST131500341AS is the bad drive. it makes a clicking sound and isn't detected by unraid. What Im trying to do is without the array started, mount my WD Blue cache drive /dev/sdf to /mnt/sdf and cp some files off. tower-diagnostics-20211014-1348.zip

I have a test machine running unraid with 1 parity drive and 1 cache drive. My parity drive died on me. Is there any way to mount and recover the data that is on the cache drive? The data on there is replaceable but theres acouple of config files I'd rather not remake.

Im struggling to figure out how to use two NIC's in my setup. Unraid VM Server 1: Interface Eth0 1G with internet (DHCP 192.168.100.0/24) Interface Eth1 10G Direct to Unraid Storage Server 2 (Static on 192.168.200.0/24) Unraid Server 2 Interface Eth1 10G Direct to Unraid VM Server 1 (Static on 192.168.200.0/24) I need my VM from Server 1 to have internet but also able to transfer files directly to server2. I got this working with static IP using baremetal ubuntu but im lost with the unraid setting to get it all working with a VM

What could I be doing wrong or is there an issue with WD Red's and the NetApp PM80xx series cards? I have this same netapp setup and the pcie card shows up with unraid 6.8.3 but only my SAS Dell / Toshiba Drives are being detected. My WD Red Sata drives I get nothing. actually to clarify, not on the internet isnt completely correct. The unraid console cannot connect outside through ping or other apps like community apps. But my nextcloud docker is working 100% accessible from the internet using my domain name

how do I change the gateway. Isnt it already defined under route for 192.168.100.1 via br0 I havnt made any progress getting the box back onto the internet.

I dont want to start fresh but If I decide to, if I backup the unraid license file, wipe and reinstall the USB stick along with the old license file. Does that work for a fresh start without having to contact support for a new license?

I deleted the network.cfg Booted up with only eth0 plugged in, at this point its all I really care about. I was able to get a address from my router's DHCP but no internet. all the internal networking seems to work, like accessing plex from the IP. but nothing with the internet works. noticed my unraid time was incorrect. corrected it but still no internet access to alot of unraid features. Checking for plugin updates hangs. I saw a clock unsynchronized error in the syslog. I did change my bios clock to the correct date yesterday. Having issues connecting to dockers and plugins. Deluge stopped responding Community Apps hangs I have to press back on the browser. Issue started after I setup my nextcloud with the turotial "How to Setup and Configure a Reverse Proxy on unRAID with LetsEncrypt & NGINX" Nextcloud is working great and can be accessed using my domain. But some internal applications are unreachable. Plex works if I use plex.tv but not if I go using the IP. Setting a custom network type for Nextcloud shouldn't affect my other dockers that use bridge should it? tower-diagnostics-20200102-1434.zip

My server failing to boot during a reboot today. Im not sure. I installed several dockers and a plugin before this happened nextcloud mariadb networkstats I suspect its networkstats that has caused this, the last thing I see is vnstatd: no process found. then it tries to connect to a slackware mirror. Any help would be huge. Im not sure where to start. Does the usbdrive have a log I can pull off from another computer?

So I have a weird issue. I had 4 drives in my unraid server, 2 SSD and 2 4TB Western Digital. 1 is a Red the other is a blue. Starting yesterday, the Red and the Blue drives will not be detected. Tried different controllers, other computers Sata and USB.. etc. They dont even make a sound when plugged into power. My question is, is it possible that the drive heads got locked or something on these drives? My HD fail rate is really low, not sure how 2 newish drives could fail like this. As a side note, I'm getting 400 more points on my passmark score after removing that Nvidia usb hub. Not sure whats going on there, now on to passthrough a different controller.

Removing the Nvidia USB-C hub seems to have removed the issue. I tested a mix of restarts and shutdowns, well over 20 times with no issue. It would be nice to be able to use the built in hub but if its not a very VM friendly controller I'll look into passing through one of the built in controllers and see if that works. Bastl thanks for trying that out. I find it interesting the audio is missing the RESET. My Nvidia audio is also missing the RESET, but I never use it, just use a USB headset.

Ok will try without it. I was reading the Arch wiki warning of devices that dont accept RESET. Theres a bash script that displays the devices showing which ones do or do not support reset. this was the output. The USB-C port seems to be working as a normal USB hub when the VM is running. I can plug in a usb headset or thumbdrive no problem. The vm is rock solid for days, if I dont try and restart it.
