Expanding ZFS pool by adding a new drive, is it in unraid yet?
Hi, I have had Unraid for a long time, have a ton on my array, considering doing a ZFS pool instead. I see Truenas has a way to add new drives to expand the size of their ZFS pool. Has this been implemented in Unraid? If not, is it in the works? Have an ETA? And while I am asking questions, Is ZFS faster or slower than a normal array?

HELP!! Docker Service failed to start.
Okay... upgraded to 7 rc 1, somehow cache disk was no longer mounted. Upgraded to 7 rc2, added back cache. Seemed to be okay. Then installed Spacinvaderone's nextcloud AIO. It didnt install, tried numerous times. Then... various dockers that were working fine on unraid 6 where now not working. So down graded to RC1 said Docker Service failed to start. Downgraded to unraid 6.12.14 still Docker Service failed to start. In spaceinvaders video you change the docker service under settings to yes to allow for preserve use defined networks. So I changed that back to no. Nothing changed. in log I noticed Dec 29 20:03:15 Loki root: Fix Common Problems: Error: Default docker appdata location is not a cache-only share My share for appdata says public and storage was primary cache secondary array. So docker is no longer runnings. Any suggestions? Help is appreciated.

nextcloud-aio (spaceinvader) failed; Unraid 7 rc2
Thanks Jorge, but there does not appear to be one. there is a link to a github and dockerhub, but those are not specific to unraid or the spaceinvaderone version. I was hoping someone here might have an idea what is going wrong.

nextcloud-aio (spaceinvader) failed; Unraid 7 rc2
I installed once, nothing downloaded... waited a day and all but three installed, but Apache, Nextcloud and Notify did not install. Uninstalled, reinstalled, nothing. Then uninstalled and then did docker volume rm, then it appeared to be a full reinstall. Acted like it was working but again, those three did not install. NordVPN with wireguard on unraid
Hi, I am currently using delugevpn, it has an option for wireguard for nord, but I can only get openvpn config files from nord. Anyone have any wireguard configuration files? Ideally one in US and one in Europe and maybe one in Mexico? Also, I see a nordlynx docker, but... does it work? When I installed it had no web gui, just a command line. My goal is to have a VPN that uses wireguard that I can route my other dockers through to protect their traffic. Help?

Best drive configuration for data preservation with a small number of drives
Hi JorgeB, You mentioned adding a ZFS to an array allows you to discover bit rot.... hate to bug you, but if I add a ZFS or convert all my disks to ZFS, how do I discover it? Does it automatically tell you? do you need to run something to figure it out? From your post, I think I will convert to ZFS if it can at least tell me about the rot.

VPN, must it be difficult? Any decent options?
Hi, Love Unraid, have been using for 4 plus years, but have not had a need for a VPN until recently. I want to run a docker's connection through a VPN. I have installed delugevpn, even though I do not use deluge and it works. I can route other dockers through it.. I had to figure it out since all the videos I found were old, but I got it working. But.. is there a simpler way? Any better programs? With deluge VPN I had to change the other dockers network type to none and then add extra parameters to source it to delugevpn... Then I have to go into delugevpn and add those ports. So I have to edit two dockers to get it to work. Not horrible once you take hours with trial and error to figure the "new" way to add multiple ports to deluge. But since there is a network type option in every docker, is there a VPN program where we can just change it from bridge to say VPN here and have it just work? Not complaining, well maybe a little... but seriously I love unraid, I just figure there has to be a better way. Any other VPN's where it is easier, maybe one where you just select it in network type? Incidentally, I have Nord. Got it to work with delugevpn with openvpn, but can not find a ovpn file for it to work with wireguard on delugevpn. Any thoughts on best VPN uses? please let me know.

Bitrot an issue? Or is there already a fix in unraid?
I tried googling and searching forums but most of the articles were pretty old and I could not find a definitive answer so... Is bitrot a problem that can occur with unraid? or is an array with unraid protected aautomatically? I have an XFS array storing media files, some I rarely ever access, Do I need to do anything to protect against bitrot? Does running parity check find any bitrot? does it fix it? What should I do, install etc to protect my files against rot? Thanks!

Unassigned Devices - Managing Disk Drives and Remote Shares Outside of The Unraid Array
Hi, I have an array with files on it , and I want to copy them to a hard drive in the same computer. The HD I want to copy to is showing as an unassigned disk. But krusader will not allow me to create a folder or transfer any files to it. Note, I tried to use penguin, but it will not load for some reason. Any idea why this is not working? or how to get it to work? running Version 6.9.0-beta30 2020-10-05 (vs -beta29) Is t here an issue with the beta? And auto updates for all dockers and plugins. I have Unassigned disks and unassigned disks plus, both say up to date. Thanks!
