  1. in this case yes but the same thing has happened long after a transcode would have finished and server put to sleep and rewoke. I thought about the transcode maybe existing in my /tmp/ directory still and plex trying to just pick up where it left off on a resume play but that doesnt explain the high CPU usage. It had never been an issue prior to version 6.9.0-beta35, nvidia drivers (v 455.38), and the new plexinc docker I'm trying (Version 1.21.0.3711) with the HDR tonemapping. Unfortunately I made all the changes at the same time but I know switching back to linuxserver.io's plex container is not the issue because the same issue pops up after waking from S3. I'm running an Asus Pro WS X570-ACE motherboard with ryzen 3800x CPU and a Quadro P2000 and it was working great on unraid-nvidia but I pushed the update due to the depreciation. I just tried that flag and it disabled sleep completely, the logs showed the system issuing a wake command after processes failed to suspend. removing it put me back where I was. I'm going to go digging around in the unraid-nvidia thread some more to see if there's an old post about it somewhere.

I forgot to mention restarting the Plex docker and docker service doesn't change the outcome after the system has been woken from sleep.
  3. Anybody run into an issue where plexinc docker container hardware transcoding ability drops out after a system sleep and wake cycle? System reboot resolves the issue. I can confirm hw transcoding is properly set up in dashboard handling HDR tone mapping content, etc. on current plexpass build. I'm wondering if there's a flag or something I need to include on my sleep settings.
  4. I noticed that my plexinc docker will hardware transcode with nvidia driver after a fresh reboot with a P2000 but loses that ability after a sleep and wake cycle. Since several things are new (trying the HDR tone mapping on new plexpass versions of plex), I'm not actually sure where the problem lies. Again this is fixed with a system reboot.
  5. unsure if its a good idea or not but i’ve been stopping and resuming progress with each update. there have been 2 updates since i started the most recent 3-cycle tests on my 3x USB attached drives. No errors or failures so far, just wondering if anybody wants to weigh in on whether or not that is required.
  6. so since I’m just starting out my unraid and i’m new around here, I added my drives to the array to start messing with things and getting used to it, how would i go about running the preclear tests on the drives now that they’ve been added? i don’t care about wiping out the data yet
  7. same. fresh install, 3 fresh 10TB WD elements drives failed preclear the night before last, (unshucked, running the tests over USB with a fan on the stack of drives) and now I’m getting email notifications that they’re starting to fail it again with clear SMART reports. the failure notification is the same as simon and jsebright’s above (except no confusion about it being an SSD) this time around i ran a single pass with pre-read unchecked (known passed checkpoint) to catch the flags and heres a log of the preclear preclear_disk_4A454B304544365A_19209.txt
