  1. On my systems, upon reboot, I would find the plugin moved to the "plugin error" section, both in the UI and /config folders on the flash drive. A few days ago I rebuilt the flash on my main storage array. I hadn't thought to test but seeing notifications about this thread prompted me. This was a complete clean RC4 install with only the license key used from the old install. All drives etc have been wiped. Other than removing an NVidia GPU (and associated drivers), nothing much has changed about the hardware config. In the last hour I installed SNMP on that server and rebooted, it was there and functioning after reboot. I then added back VLANs and rebooted again, it was there and functioning afterwards. I do not yet have any containers or VMs running on this system and will update if anything I install causes the issue to appear. I have yet to test this on a server that I haven't rebuilt. I will soon but my other systems are in production and can not be rebooted at the moment. I would post diagnostics but A) there's no point from the working server and B) I want to make sure that the other server still has the issue! Thanks
  2. 3rd - £4.41 4th - £4.43 5th - £4.41 6th - £4.25 Kind of the same boat but that covers pretty much all the IT equipment I run. 4x Unraid Servers, Untangle UTM, S3300 switch, 2x GS108PEv3 PoE switches, 3x Unifi AP via PoE, 2x RPi 4 via PoE, 2x RPi 4 via PSU, APC SMT3000RMi2U and APC SM1500iRM2U. The only things that are not accounted for are my desktop monitors (desktop PC is a VM with GPU passthrough on one of the Unraid servers) and another S3300 24port switch. I expect it to go up by another 60W as the summer takes hold, the extractor fan on the room containing the majority of the kit hasn't needed to run since last year. Evaluating my options but my current choice is to just suck it up, everything works as I need/want it to with minimum intervention. I imagine that will change during the next round of price hikes! EDIT: Interesting side note: I upgraded my Untangle box yesterday with an Emulex dual 10G SFP+ NIC (1x 10g LC SFP+ module fitted) instead of using the 1GB LOM. Just checked the wattage on the servers iLO and it has increased by 20w just from the addition of that 10gbe card.
  3. Which worked perfectly until the next reboot I'm currently waiting for 6.10 to get out of RC and into stable and then i'll try again.
  4. Sorry for the delay, I have not been getting notifications of replies to this topic and check in today "just in case"! On the only system I can reboot easily at this time I have now successfully installed the SNMP plugin. I needed to remove the plugin from the "failed plugins tab", goto /boot/config/plugins and manually delete the snmp directory and all it's contents, reboot and then install the plugin through the app store as normal. This completed without issue and even gave a good output during the log. I have not included it as it will not tell you anything. However, on Thor, I have not been able to reboot, but removed the failed plugin, deleted the /boot/config/plugins/snmp directory and then retried installation. I received the following log: plugin: installing: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubedzero/unraid-snmp/main/snmp.plg plugin: downloading https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubedzero/unraid-snmp/main/snmp.plg plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubedzero/unraid-snmp/main/snmp.plg ... done plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubedzero/unraid-snmp/main/packages/perl-5.32.0-x86_64-1.txz ... done +============================================================================== | Skipping package perl-5.32.0-x86_64-1 (already installed) +============================================================================== plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubedzero/unraid-snmp/main/packages/libnl-1.1.4-x86_64-3.txz ... done +============================================================================== | Skipping package libnl-1.1.4-x86_64-3 (already installed) +============================================================================== plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubedzero/unraid-snmp/main/packages/net-snmp-5.9-x86_64-1.txz ... done +============================================================================== | Skipping package net-snmp-5.9-x86_64-1 (already installed) +============================================================================== plugin: downloading: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kubedzero/unraid-snmp/main/packages/unraid-snmp-2021.05.21-x86_64-1.txz ... done +============================================================================== | Skipping package unraid-snmp-2021.05.21-x86_64-1 (already installed) +============================================================================== +============================================================================== | Testing SNMP by listing mounts, /boot should be present +============================================================================== snmpwalk -v 2c localhost -c public hrFSMountPoint snmpwalk failureCouldn't find /boot mount point. If the DONE button did not appear, then you will need to click the red X in the top right corner I will get a chance to reboot Thor in the next few hours and will report back once I have tested it again. I have now been able to reboot Thor and it also worked. Deleting the /boot/config/plugins/snmp folder seems to be the key. Once it downloads EVERYTHING again it seems to work. I have a third server to try but see no reason why I should not have success there also. Thanks for the help
  5. Yes @kubed_zeroyou are indeed correct. On two servers that I rebooted this afternoon, both showed the SNMP plugin in the "Plugin File Install Errors" tab, although other than reinstalling the plugin I am not sure where to look next for more answers. I am getting the feeling that this is purely related to the RC version of Unraid and, once that becomes stable and the plugin is updated in due course, the issue will hopefully disappear. I just wanted to reach out in case others were experiencing the same. Thanks again
  6. Appreciate the replies. I was unaware of the "failed plugins" tab and will check that and report back next time I reboot a server. Thanks
  7. Hi, I have the SNMP plugin installed on three servers, each has Unraid 6.10.0-rc2 installed. Everything is working as it should other than, whenever I shutdown / reboot any one of the three servers the plugin is no longer installed when I log back in to that server. I have to go to the CA tab and install it again, once that is done all the modified configuration is shown under settings, as it was before the reboot. Is anyone having a similar issue with the SNMP plugin? Thanks
  8. Hi, Running 6.9.0-beta25 with multipool support. Just setup a btrfs pool with 3x 1TB NVMe drives and expected (from what I have read and from online calculators) 1.5TB usable space. Unraid shows 33% (500GB) as used on a newly created pool. Is there something I should have done prior / during / post pool setup? What have I missed? Thanks in advance. Andy Hodges
  9. Thanks for the heads up. I already own the RX570 so I will give it a try and see what happens. If it doesn't work it won't be the end of the world as I can get by with RDP or VNC.
  10. Hi, I am looking at purchasing the following items for an Unraid build to replace my QNAP device. I think I have everything covered but would like to check I haven't overlooked anything and that the hardware chosen will work well with Unraid. Case: 4U 24x 6Gb/s SATA / SAS PSU: Corsair HW1200 CPU: TR 2920x Mobo: Aorus X399 Pro Cooler: Wraith Ripper RAM: 128GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16) DDR4 3200 MHz C16 XMP 2.0 HBA: Broadcom SAS 9305-24i Cache: 2x M.2 NVME 1TB SSD Parity: 2x WD 8TB (Drives to be removed from WD Essentials external units) Storage: 4x WD 8TB as above + 8x WD RED 4TB NAS removed from the QNAP + 6x 2TB Seagate for Specific VM use Misc: AMD RX570 8GB for VM use, Nvidia 1060 6GB for Plex use. The system will be used for storage, Plex, Various VM's and Dockers. Anything that I have missed or need to be concerned about? Thanks in advance Andy
