I had exactly this problem. Messed up permissions after leaving an AD. I removed all ACLs with this simple Command... setfacl -Rb /mnt/user/* and than using the unraid "New Permissions" feature to get the permissions right again. P.S. I know the topic is a bit old but I didn't know were else i should post this solution, hope thats ok.
