  1. Still very curious about transmission-bt sometimes when a torrent has finished downloading i cannot access the folder as any other user than guest, anyone know why?
  2. FYI "md3" isn't referred to anywhere if you click disk 3 on the dashboard... sorry for the confusion. seemed obvious (sdh) in parenthesis, *shrugs* Thanks again

  4. root@Mondo:~# xfs_repair /dev/md3 Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... Phase 2 - using internal log - zero log... Invalid block length (0x0) for buffer Log inconsistent (didn't find previous header) empty log check failed zero_log: cannot find log head/tail (xlog_find_tail=5) ERROR: The log head and/or tail cannot be discovered. Attempt to mount the filesystem to replay the log or use the -L option to destroy the log and attempt a repair. root@Mondo:~#
  5. I ran xfs_repair on /dev/sdh and initially it said that it found a bad magic number, then it made 20 hours of dots and at the end said "Sorry, could not find valid secondary superblock Exiting now." so... am I fucked now?
  6. no errors on drive, should I just format it? but won't I lose the data that's on it? There are several recent things in my /downloads share that are no longer there since this morning. I don't understand why it isn't automatically re-adding the drive? mondo-smart-20200708-2203.zip
  7. OK, first off, sometimes when a torrent is downloaded, the permissions are changed so that any users, can't read or write to the directory, but guest can read, but has no write, and i either have to do the "new permissions" thing on the control panel or chmod 777 from terminal... weird. Shut down to move UPS location and now Disk 3 (a 6 month old 6tb drive) is saying unmountable? I shut down correctly and am confused because there is nothing obvious to me in SMART data or otherwise that makes that drive seem any bad at all. Please help mondo-diagnostics-20200708-2239.zip
  8. Soo... I upgraded to the RC, and then the fullblown new 6.8 - Still have intermittent performance issues. Is unRaid really not able to let me stream 1080p/720p content?
  9. Okay, cool - Let me try this release candidate and see if my life is better
  10. Dope! Yes, it's working well as a Docker app It does seem that whenever Transmission is downloading a few torrents, I am unable to stream via SMB to my KODI computer upstairs from the unRaid - read speed goes between 30mbit to 1mbit, if I stop downloading in transmision, I get 30-40mbit consistently (not fast, but definitely enough to stream 1080p) any idea what the deal is? mondo-diagnostics-20191209-0749.zip
  11. Thanks, that worked What is the docker? what kinda apps can I run from there? I managed to get transmission installed as a plugin, super nice having my torrent client running on the unraid box, I like it. I wonder if I can get Medusa (sickrage fork) to run on there too.
  12. I created my first share, started putting stuff on it, didn't realize my share had "use cache" checked ... because now my cache drive is full and I'm getting notifications and emails about it. I unticked the use cache part of my share, but nothing has changed. Not sure what the cache drive is for if I can't "use it" ... but anywho... I'm just learning mondo-diagnostics-20191207-0204.zip
  13. There was one bad drive (old 1.5tb that is probably a decade old, lol) and one bad cable connected to a 6tb... that cable was at least a decade old, rofl. Thanks, no more errors now I think.
  14. But where is the fun in that?! (lol) OKAY, I did that. It's great I'm going to let the 6tb drives which are brand new, and the 3tb drive do their thing now, and it's syncing at 178mb/sec (much better than before, lol) once it's up, I'll add some more drives. Yes I tested them all, but i didn't "preclear" them, can't find the thing for that in the ui, must be a command-line thing? I definitely want to use all my drive bays, as that would be fun, and I think I'd like to add a second parity drive, at what point is that recommended? Thanks! tower-diagnostics-20191205-0048.zip
