  1. Thanks so much for the help everyone. The RAM stick was the issue, so now it's working fine again. Again many thanks for the help, it really much appreciated. Cheers, Kjetil
  2. Ok, removed some RAM sticks and now the test ran without any errors. But what about the discs? Why are some of the active discs also listed as "historical devices" ? Do I need to take any action here?
  3. Ok, so remove some of the RAM sticks and test again ?
  4. Test 1, 2, 3 went ok, test 4 shows errors and the test freezes
  5. The test shows errors, but I don't know how to interprete them... photo enclosed.
  6. Thanks everyone, will do a test now
  7. The same menu I can choose safety mode?
  8. Where can I find the memtest ?
  9. PS! When the server is up, I can access files without problems. But only for a few minutes before it freezes.
  10. Hello Having big issues with my Unraid, it has started to drop of the network and freeze after some 5-10 minutes uptime. Can also not access it directly with keyboard and monitor connected directly to the server. Sometime the screen is just black, sometimes a frozen Unraid window appears. Enclosing a diagnostic here, not sure if it's helpful. I am not a tech guy so not sure what to do. I saw today that several of the discs that is part of the raid says historical discs even if they are part of the raid. Can this be the reason for the issue? Should I do anything with the settings on these? All help is much appreciated. Thank you. federalreserve-diagnostics-20240118-1320.zip
  11. Not sure how to find the fault...
  12. And now it happened for a 2nd time in just 1 hour... must be some hardware fault... mainboard?
  13. After using the server a few weeks, it suddenly fell out of the network. It was still on but not responding, also there was no picture when connecting a screen directly to the server vga output. Had to do a forced power off. And power on again. Now it's working again and online. I added the diagnostics here, are you able to see anything from the diagnostics? Error message etc ? federalreserve-diagnostics-20230719-2055.zip
  14. Rebuilt parity, so now it's working. Thanks for your help JorgeB 😊
  15. So I remove the two parity discs by choosing "no device", then start and stop the array, then reassign the two discs, and start the array again in maintenance mode (choosing sync to rebuild) ?
  16. Don't have any cables, so would need to order in. But I can do it. Do I boot as normal, and start the unraid? How do I do the re-sync?
  17. Not sure actually. Should I restart Unraid and check if all is ok ?
  18. Hello everyone Logged onto unraid today and saw an error message, parity disabled. So I took a diagnostic and shut down unraid. I add the diagnostics here. Disregard the error messages for the UPS, its disconnected but I have not updated unraid. What to do now? Start up the raid again ? Or boot in safety mode? I am not tech savy so hoping someone can help with fairly detailed descriptions.... I did a parity check a few weeks ago, showed no errors. And have not had disc error messages either. Very thankful for any help. Kind regards, Kjetil federalreserve-diagnostics-20230628-1043.zip
  19. Thanks everyone for the kind help. I will look into improving the cooling. Cheers, Kjetil
  20. Thank you. Here is a copy of the last message, I found no way to download it, so I took a screenshot. Same message as before. Could it be that one of the disks was hot during the test? I read on the forum that a hot disk might make the status rapport fail.
  21. Hi Jorge. Where can I find the complete array status rapport? Cheers, Kjetil
  22. Everything is working fine as of now, but I had the error message. I did not cut the power myself off course, it was a power out from the electric company. Backups? Some, but not all. Its 28 disc + 2 parity in the raid, so impossible for me to backup everything. Was just curios if someone with more technical knowledge than me could take a look at the diagnostics to see if something need attention...
  23. Hello, I just got a message that "array health rapport (fail)", during a parity check. Had a power out in the house. Parity check said zero errors. The diagnostics are added here. Would be great if someone more knowledgeable than me could have a look to see if all is ok, or if something need attention. Cheers, Kjetil federalreserve-diagnostics-20230403-2210.zip
  24. Will test another monitor and feedback here. But always had signal to the screen before, and could access command line at any time. I think I am booting normal, it's just command line text that show up on the screen during booting. Its not like the GUI I have when accessing thru a web browser.
  25. The screen says "mode not supported", so it might be outputting something - but its never been like this before
