  1. The Update button only exists in the old GUI and is used to install the new GUI. The new GUI does not currently have an update feature; you'd have to copy a newer version to your USB drive to update it. The new GUI was put on GitHub presumably with the thought that others could help with it's development but Limetech has to authorize these changes and hasn't made any updates of their own as of yet; nothing has changed since the initial release. You can see the status at https://github.com/limetech/webGui and see if it's been updated (I'm sure there will be a post here as well). Cheers, ...Donovan
  2. Tom has stated that he has fixes some issues from weeks ago and we're still waiting for them to be pushed out. How does forking help us move the webGUI ahead if changes don't get pushed out? (I apologize, I don't fully understand the forking concept, only in the example where one is starting a new version of something and abandoning the existing one, which usually has management issues or differences in ideas with regards to how things should proceed). ...Donovan

Tom: You need to authorize 'Ant to push the updates out. Keeping strict control over every single thing puts a stranglehold on progress. Put a note on GitHub that some updates are beta and might break things, then you can authorize a stable branch after a certain feature/set has been debugged and deemed stable by yourself. http://youtu.be/oKEq6poDx1s ...Donovan
  4. Indeed, I think one of my first posts here (not visible any more) was to say that I thought SimpleFeatures should be the default GUI, and having it this close to completion is indeed a great thing that should promote unRAID's visibility and popularity.
  5. Should we request feature requests here or as Issues on github? I'm desperately missing this slick screen from SimpleFeatures and think it adds to the appeal of the overall GUI: • Stats - Gorgeous stats on drive usage, network, CPU and more. Even just the drive usage screen with animation to start for 5.0 "final" (I hate that word, it never will be final, and I think it should be dropped, due to obvious hangups people have over it. Just call it 5.0). The GUI is looking great! ...Donovan
