Hi Jonatham, So I pulled my graphics card and the boot screen showed up when connected to the motherboard and it does all the sumermicro / mellanonox boot screens but its telling me it cannot find any boot media. I pulled my usb key and connected it to my pc and it seems fine. I do not think I disturbed any cabling as its a server rack and I was adding drives to caddy's at the front of it and the usb key sits inside the machine. PS Thanks for the great software

Hi, Just bought some new 12Tb hardrives and went to install and them and now cannot boot the server. Tried removing the new drives and still no GUI to log into. I usually run headless but I have attached the monitor to the server but when I boot there is no supermicro bois flash screen like you would usually get and that bit is new, never had that problem. Other then that everything sounds like normal when booting. Not sure what to do next ? This machine has been pretty rock solid for 5 years

Hi all, In this world of the pandemic I guess there are a few of us having to working from home. So I have set up a second windows 10 install on my main PC on a SSD I had lying around. I would like to block access to unraid on just this PC on my network, less distractions while i'm working . Ideally no web interface or network shares, but I am not sure how to go about it.

Hi guys, After many years I eventually went and bought a UPS device and after reading a number of forums here I eventually went with APC 1200gi, (Reconditioned) more than what I need and according to the forums here it will work with Unraid. However I cannot seem to get it to communicate with my setup. I had to get a separate cable, USB to Ethernet (maybe I have the wrong cable) and have tried various combinations of Cable type and UPS type in the ups settings page as well as various USB ports on the motherboard but same no communications warning. Attached a screenshot of the UPS settings page. Anyway thanks in advance for any help ye can offer

However i have recently invested in a new router that has a greater funcionality over the one from the ISP. This one allows me to set a vpn at the router level, I just wanted to know those this have any effect on the delugevpn.

Hi, I had followed Spaceinvader's video on "How to setup ISCSI targets on unRAID using Openfiler vm" and everything was working fine until I recently changed my Router. This had the effect of changing the ip address on everything from 192.168.100 to 192.168.101. I have been able to fix most things except openfiler ip address. When I load the vm the address I can see on the VNC viewer is 192.168.100 address and I can not load that in a browser to change it in the settings. Now the drives are not reachable from my Pc as the address is no longer valid in the iSCSI Initiator. If anybody knows if or how to change this from the terminal I would really appreciate it. It is beyond my knowledge base.

So I am trying to install a 4 port intel nic card into my server but it keeps knocking it offline. I install the card, boot the server and than cannot access the server on the network. I have then uninstalled the card, reboot my router and reset the defaults in my supermicro motherboard to get it back online. I am attempting this to follow spaceinvader ones pfSense tutorial but falling at the first hurdle.

Hi, I was using the embyserver container and ran into that problem about play back mentioned earlier. I reverted back to binhex's container as I am using several others of his (thanks binhex & spaceinvader one). One thing I noticed is that under the plugins catalog in binhex's container it does not list the same plugins such as tvthemesongs and a plugin to download trailers locally. Does anybody know how to install them manually, I still have the .dll files from the embyserver container or how to install them from the web interface in binhex's container?

Hi Again, So its now downloading and I can see the file in the incomplete & complete folders. However it is creating an extra folder so my download path looks like data/ _2X68Q~7/complete. All is fine except it breaks the mover service in sonarr which is looking for data/complete/filename for which the automation is half the point!

Initially I had a Downloads folder Capital D, now I have 2, downloads & Downloads. Both are set to export:yes. I just cannot See/Find the new "downloads"

Hi Andy, Thanks for your help the path listing in settings.json was "user/nobody/downloads" or something like that, I have changed it to "download-dir": "/downloads/complete", "download-queue-enabled": true, "incomplete-dir": "/downloads/incomplete", "incomplete-dir-enabled": true, In sonarr and Trasmission I have tried /data --> /mnt/user/downloads/ /downloads --> /mnt/user/downloads/ I can see in the unraid gui under share's a new share called "downloads", but I cannot see it in windows explorer. I have changed the container path from "data" to "downloads" to no avail. I am not using the cache for this folder, . Its quite frustrating as I know its close to working.

Hi jonathanm, thanks for the response. I have done as you said above and changed all the container path's to /data and host path's to /mnt/user/Downloads/temp creating a temp file in Downloads. Still no sign of any download files in the new directory.

Hi Hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have transmissionVPN and sonarr installed, set up and working with airvpn. I tell sonarr to grap an episode of something. It does and I can see it in transmission downloading. But I check in the downloads folder and there are no files. From what I have read it may be a Volume Mappings problem. It was working fine when I was using Transmission as oposed to TransmissionVPN.

Hi all, Occasionally getting a heat alarm caused it seems when running a windows 10 vm with 4 cores and 15 Gigs ram. Only appears to happen when I start kodi, or the native windows Film & TV app, which means it seems when I put some load on the system. Everything keeps working ok. Ok so it doesn't look like its getting an ip address from the router. Used some ip scanner software and laptop, kodibuntu , unraid and router all that is listed.

Hi all, while still trying to get this to work I tried pinging the win 10 vm from my win 10 laptop and got no responce. I could ping my Unraid server and kodibuntu fine. From the Vm I could ping the Unraid server and kodibuntu but not my win 10 desktop or laptop. And from my laptop I could not ping my win 10 desktop. So basically I cannot ping and win 10 instance both real and Vm? Any thoughts welcome

Ok so this continues to stump me. As my win 7 iso was not pro i ditched it and downloaded and installed a pro version of windows 10. Installed without a hitch and logged in using VNC and set remote desktop on, not the remote assistance I confused it with on the win 7 vm. On my desktop again I try to log in with remote desktop and it still can't connect. Just a couple of caveats, not sure if there relevant. 1. Win 10 pro VM is not activated 2.
