    Yes if they are SSDs, since that HBA won't be able to trim them.

    I am trying to cancel my order as the 9207 was PCIe 3.0 and my Asus M5A97 R2.0 MB is PCIe 2.0.

     

    Get a 9211 instead that is PCIe 2.0 and won't get as hot as 9207.
