i want to query the last available unraid stable version number through a shell script.

Can this be done? Which source should i use?

    do i have to execute "plugin checkos" manually or does unraid execute this command automatically (as example daily) so that i can check for the newest version on executing "plugin version /tmp/plugins/unRAIDServer.plg"?
