That's somewhat selectable from the template author. Vast majority of the authors have the templates set to update, but others don't because it causes some issues at times. Not all elements in the template get updated, but new ports, descriptions etc do. Quote Link to comment
Paul_Ber Posted January 19, 2021 Share Posted January 19, 2021 As an author how do I set the template to update? I have updated on docker-templates on github. So far I have had to uninstall with image and then delete the user template so it takes the updated template. Quote Link to comment
Squid Posted January 19, 2021 Share Posted January 19, 2021 The entry in the XML is TemplateURL If you install via Apps, it's already filled out appropriately. If you're not then you have to manually edit the xml and add the entry with the appropriate URL to the raw file (not a blob) Quote Link to comment
