Mouse offset when using VNC remote

Hello,

 

I had a problem where my mouse was offset when I logged into a windows 10 VM using VNC remote. 

I had passed through a GPU so windows displayed 2 monitors in display settings. 

Selecting "show only on 1" got rid of the offset.

I switch between remoting into the VM and using a physical display - it would seem I have to remember to switch this back before I use the physical display. 

Wondering if anyone has a more elegant solution?

 

First time poster here - my thanks to all the folks that have provided online resources.

    Chrome (Android)

    3. Adjust your preference.
