December 21, 20205 yr I'm planning on upgrading my Unriad box and moving my gaming pc into a VM. I'm thinking about getting an Intel Core i9-10850K because 10 cores for $400 is the sweet spot for me that Ryzen 5000 skips, and, more importantly, the integrated graphics can transcode 4k files from my plex docker. This saves me from having a dedicated GPU for transcoding and saves a PCIe slot. Does anyone have any Z490 motherboard recommendations with passthrough in mind? There isn't nearly as much info on Z490 passthrough as X570. I only need 6+ sata ports, a 16x PCIe slot for a 2070, a 8x slot for a LSI SAS card, and extra smaller pci slots for usb/sound/nic if the onboard stuff wont passthrough. Thanks for your help!
