February 2, 201115 yr I tried using utorrent on my HTPC and use my unraid server as storage but when I drive spins down it will cause the torrent to timeout if it is requested again because stupid utorrent wont wait a second for the drive to spin up. Does anyone know if any of the other torrent clients have more patience before timing out? Figured I would ask before I started trying them all. Thanks, Brandon

Thanks, Brandon The drive that you have set as the torrent download spot, just set it to never spin down. That will solve the problem, but will result in a little more energy use.
February 2, 201115 yr You might want to try out Transmission actually running on your unRAID server and accessable from your HTPC. There are several nice UI's available for it that makes it seem very close to uTorrent.

I am working on and update to the Transmission package as it currently writes quite a bit to the Flash drive to where it is installed. I am going to have to change some things to get it installed in a different location. It is still useable and I am hoping to put out a new package sometime this week.
