Manual Install + UEFI?

I have the syncing filesystem issue with a Sandisk USB. When I do a manual install I am stuck in the UEFI boot issue where it goes straight to BIOS. I do not think my motherboard has any other option. Is there a way around this?

    Do you mean you have configured flash to boot UEFI and also configured BIOS to boot UEFI?
